  11. It's still in the early stages but you can get a preview here http://www.indieretronews.com/2019/12/the-chaos-engine-64-8-bit-tribute-to.html
  12. Not that Zoo Keeper. The other one. The obscure Taito arcade game from the early 80's. The platform screen would be easy to do on the 2600 but the :cage" screen? Can't be done. Or can it? Details here https://atariage.com/forums/topic/285571-zoo-keeper-2600-champ-games/page/3/?tab=comments#comment-4416494

  17. Exciting news for those of us who enjoyed the recent Chopper Command port. http://www.indieretronews.com/2019/09/keystone-kapers-another-atari-to-c64.html#more
  18. What I love about this port is the detail, down to the credits screen which is the same as the credits screen used in other Activision C64 ports. And they managed to get that amazing Activision sunset in, something that's harder to do on the C64 than the 2600. More info here http://www.indieretronews.com/2019/08/chopper-command-c64-final-version-will.html#more Unfamiliar with the game? It's a basic version of Defender where you need to take out planes and choppers before they hit your convoy. Bonus points are awarded depending on the jeeps remaining at the end of each round and that's it!
  19. From http://www.indieretronews.com/2018/10/maze-death-rally-x-maze-death-race-1983.html#more Comes news of a port of a port. Let's face it. It's Rally X! Still in it's early stages but it looks great.
  20. News from the always excellent http://www.indieretronews.com/2018/10/popeye-arcade-2018-gabriele-amores.html#more But now with the end of the year fast approaching there's another game that's been announced, but this time it's the turn of the ZX Spectrum with Gabriele Amore's arcade conversion of ' Popeye Arcade 2018 '; a new game which is hoping to win a prize during the ZX-DEV MIA Remakes competition. It's in with a chance, cast your eyes on this lovely port! I'm a big fan of the game having played it on the C64, 2600 and Amiga. Can't wait to try this.
  21. Check this out Even has sampled speech! From here https://www.naberhood.com/hover-bovver
  22. I was always frustrated moving from the Atari 2600 that there wasn't a decent Joust port or clone on the 8 bits. However thanks to the eagle-eyed Indie Retro news I'm now aware of this. http://www.indieretronews.com/2018/01/roust-allan-turvey-announces-arcade-to.html#undefined.gbpl I mean just look at it!
