and Pitchshifter? blimey. thought they split up.

I've seen Shifter on their last ever tour twice already.

wish I'd caught them on tour with Sikth. that would have been sweet.

I saw the Cambridge night of that tour. It was a mighty show from both bands, though Shifter suffered slightly from the lack of Jim Davies due to Prodigy commitments. His replacement (the other guitarist's brother!) did a perfectly fine job, but it wasn't *quite* the same. Say what you like about Davies (my fiancée has never forgiven him for ousting Johnny Carter!) but the boy can play...

Sikth disappointed me slightly overall - the musicians were astounding but the vocalists left me a bit cold. I wouldn't hesitate to go and watch them again, though - could have been an off night, could just be their style, but it was by no means a show-wrecker.

they are quite unique sounding, but still pretty damn cool. I'm quite jealous that you saw them both in Cambridge.

We were going to book Sikth for a gig, but they couldn't do it as they're 'lying low' due to an imminent, already delayed, new album. Looking forward to it.
