Trauma Center

Is anyone else out there playing Trauma Center: Under the Knife?? It's mad as a march hare, hugely frustrating at times, but seems to have that vital 'one more go' factor.

I reached 2-4 in a quick sitting last night, and hit a brick wall when trying to suture the blood vessel after connecting it with the forceps - anyone got any tips for that as I'm obviously doing something not quite right.

And Angie, I would..... :)

Any help?

That one is pretty simple once you know the order you have to do stuff:

First use the ultrasound to highlight/locate one of the 'blips'. Then use the forceps to freeze it in place and prepare it for removal as such. Next use your scalpel to cut it out entirely. Finally, use some antibiotic gel to heal where you just hacked the 'blip' out. (You may need to drain the blood before applying the antibiotic gel, but I can't quite remember 100% so bear that in mind). Don't forget to use the good old green liquid in the syringe occasionally to recover some health as well.

I think it's that level where you first encounter the 'Healing Touch' effect - which is damn helpful as those blips really start to fly!

Longest wait I've had from VGP so far - seven days and counting... ;)

Mine was posted Thursday last week, and arrived yesterday (from VG+).

It's an excellent game, btw, but I have to force myself not to cut the patients on purpose. Tch.

It's £17.99 from movietyme.com which is where I have ordered my copy from. No idea how long I'll have to wait for it however.

Dammit! I was living in blissful ignorance knowing I wasn't going to order it from VG+ and then Movietyme get it in.

No self control that's my problem.

My copy of Meteos came within a week of ordering but Nintendogs took a month from them. Make of that what you will. I guess Trauma Center is less desirable than Nintendogs so it might be a bit quicker.

I've got the Japanese version and I love it. I've hit a bit of a brick wall though. Trying my best not to spoil, I'm operating on something thats not inside a human body. Obviously, the advice my nurse is shouting at me isn't exactly useful.

Still, you've got to love the "getting ready for medicine" pose. I wish I was a surgeon - I'd be doing it all the time.

And I've got to agree. The DS is producing some right crackers at the moment.

I don't know what to do now. Where would be the quickest place to order this from?

You could try Tronix, not really sure how they compare pricewise to others but for pure speed I use them(I've got Shadow of the Colossus preordered with them :D ). It should ship out quickly as long as they have stock, might even ship today if you're quick. I usually use the fedex shipping option when using Tronix which costs $13 and all orders with that option have arrived after 2 days. I also ask them to mark down the packages so as to not get stung by customs and so far so good.

For new releases Tronix is cheaper than VGplus. Vgplus take the piss with their 8 dollars Canadian per game for slow shipping as well. $15 US will get you fully insured and tracked online shipping for 3 games with Tronix; my last order took 3 days to get from the US to Japan.
