I was getting into "the zone" after getting the Lite in June but have made the mistake of putting it down for a while. At least you an always practice on the individual ops and not have to restart completely.

Second only to Phoenix Wright on the DS IMO.

It's just this thing you can do to slow down time, nowt flash really.

I found that multiple aneurism (sp?) level to be the worst sticking point in the game (so far), took me quite some time to do it. It's just a matter of working quickly and minimising mistakes, then doing the healing touch when you get onto the last batch. It's pretty tricky, but the hardest part is draining them, I found, once you have that sussed, it's just a matter of working at a decent constsant pace.

Ive introduced my 8 year old to this and like me he cant be bothered with the stupid nursey story, he justs wants the action. He'd doing pretty well though, much better than I did first time round.

That's what i wanted, too. When it went into super-replicating GUILT mode, I lost my fucking marbles.

Those first ten levels were worth the money alone, though.

The trick with the aneurysms is to cut around them (once you're allowed) but don't then immediately take them out. Instead, drain and cut them all, and then start removing and patching them up.

I'm stuck on a later bit that's really annoying the hell out of me.

The way I got through this was to

pump in loads of stabiliser immediately before that section and draw a very good healing touch - your vitals should be high enough to survive a couple of aneurysms bursting and with the slow down you can deal with the remaining ones

I was loving this game and making good progree. Then, along came Chapter 5.2 - Under The Knife. Treat 5 patients in 10 mins. 1st patient has 6 wounds to be 'stiched up'. 3 are nice easy minor wounds. The other 3 are deep with lots of blood. Suck up the blood, nice clean wound, try to stich it - nothing. I just can't close these buggers up! What am I doing wrong? Help needed!

I just got to the Under The Knife level, and had to turn it off as it was pissing me off so badly; not because of teh time limit, but because of the godawful way that the forceps just dont fucking work sometimes, and being told that I 'missed' putting a bandage on someone when I clearly havent.

make sure youve used loads of antibiotic gel first, then with the bandage you need to only put it on the top of the first suture and roll to the last one..not anymore above or below

I know, but that wasn't working, it eventually accepted it when I rolled about 3/4 of the way along the cut :/

I had this problem too. I reckon they screwed something up on that particular level, as it's not that fussy on any other op.

Anyway, great great game. But now stuck on chapter 5.4.

Christ knows how I'm going to do this. Can't seem to figure out how the thing spreads. I've tried the cheesy method, as in using the "bullet time" and plucking the thorns and then scribbling away at the tissue before it has a chance to regenerate, but I still run out of time. Gah.

I share your pain, I'm stuck on the exact same operation, there's me thinking I'd get an easy ride after Under the Knife

Still this is a bloody great game it was in the lite all week on my hols, and its not as hard as I was expecting. HATE THE THORNS THOUGH

I finished this game yesterday and really liked it. I thought the plot was quite strong, especially the bit about euthenasia a few chapters in but I think I would have preferred some slightly more real-life challenges rather than the GUILT idea. Especially as they recycled the different strains of guilt LOADS, and by the end it just felt like it was being stretched out for the sake of it.

Good game though.

I completed it yesterday too. I was flushed with satisfaction after beating what I thought was the hardest operation in the game but then I discovered that some extra missions had opened up in the challenge mode. I can't make any headway on the first one, it's mindbreakingly difficult.
