Casino Bonus Bagging

Rog

Recommended Posts

Just as a matter of coolness, one of the members at the rpoints casino forum bagged the biggest internet casino win on friday, a sweet $1.7M win from a 90 cent spin on a prog jackpot.

1.7 fucking million!!

what are progressive jackpots and how do they work?

Hurrah! More winnings. Yesterday afternoon I made £150 on bet365. Then in the evening I made £110 on harrodscasino. Total for the weekend: £400.50. Sweet.

Sorry, I think the thread has move on a bit. Me = late to the party. A lot of the bonus deals seem to have disappeared now too. Can't find a new-user bonus on intercasino.co.uk, for instance. Can't find any terms and conditions on the 888 site - every link I click on seems to make me download their software. Bah.

Baz, what you playing on the casinos above that exclude blakcjack?

Or have the t&c changed on them?

T&Cs could now be completely different from why I played bonuses there. (maximum of 5 months ago)

I play Jacks or Better Video Poker for casinos the outlaw BJ! Usually 10-Play if it's available. Or 50-play depending on the bonus. I selected a lot of signups that had autoplay casino software.

In general, if a casino disallows blackjack, then you're best of playing JoB Video Poker...

* at the lowest stake per play

* with the highest amount of deals (i.e. 50play over 5play)

* and most importantly, at max coins

If the casino has autoplay too, make use of it... as it plays the best possible strategy!

Also, has anyone tried signing up for bonuses they have already done using a different bank card? Albeit still in your name, or is that too dodgy?

Suprised to see some quite big losses in there - £100 for Poet! By far the worst run I had was on Paddypower, and I lost a grand total of £13. It seemed like every hand was going against me, so I can't imagine what the £50 losses must have feel like!

thebigboss, you can add a few more of mine to that spreadsheet:

Harrods: +£95

Paddy Power: -£13

Intercasino: +£7

Sky Bet: +£337

Just done Coral again and ended up +35 this time.

Just got an e-mail from 888.com, which I started yesterday.

Gone through about $1000 worth of wagers, still another $3500 to go but;

Congratulations!! YOU have won $30 because YOU are a lucky winner of yesterday’s ‘Simple Winnings’ event!

So is that my money already, or do I need to play that through as well? I had no idea this even existsed.

Edit: Now my account has been given another $25 on top of the referal bonus I recieved when siging up too :D

Edit 2: I've just called them and they've said I can keep the extra $25, which was nice of them, still have to play it through 20 times of course, but more fool them

Blimey. Never looked into this sort of stuff properly before.

Just did that Skybet thing - deposited £500, played just over £5K through blackjack, took out £607, now waiting for my £250 bonus.

Nice one!

Don't forget you have to play through that bonus once over after it is credited before you can withdraw it!

Yup - I noticed that.

Still, £250 through blackjack should lose less than £10 unless you're really unlucky.

Playing the £5K was a bit of a laugh. Spent an hour doing a quid a hand, then realised it was gonna take all day, so upped it to a tenner a hand.

Christ, a tenner a hand? I did that one on £3 hands. I wanted to reduce the risk of losing big on that one, as the bonus is so massive. Still came out with £337 profit though

So which one next after SkyBet then?

Have you got the bonus from Skybet yet? They're are reputable enough but it's generally a bad idea to withdraw your deposit before finishing all the wagering.

I have a hazy memory of signups but check paddypower or 32red if you want larger bonuses.

Yup, just got the email to say it's come through. Will go play it now :)

Thanks for the suggestions.

Sorry, was going to answer this earlier, but forgot....

See here -

£500 @ £10/hand playing through £5000 gives a risk of ruin of only 5%.

With £3/hand as you played, you're playing around 1600 hands off around 150 which gives a RoR of about 0.25% - extraordinarily conservative (not to mention extremely time consuming if there's not an "auto-play" button!).

Happy medium is probably mid-way between what you did and I did to be honest. If I had the opportunity to do it again, I'd probably go for somehting between £5 and £8 per hand.

By risk of ruin, do you mean losing all your deposit or finishing down rather than up?

As Poet says.

No offence dude, but I have to admit being slightly concerned that someone with such apparent lack of knowledge as to how odds work is partaking in things like this. Be very careful where you spend your money!

These things are only worth doing if the bonuses effectively stack the odds in your favour. Ignoring the bonus, you cannot play 5,000 hands of blackjack and realistically expect to be up at the end of it. I was just lucky - and for every 100 people who get lucky, there will be 101 who get unlucky.
