Casino Bonus Bagging

Recommended Posts

Cheeko: some of those casinos may have changed their terms since Bazclaf played there, so it may not be worth playing there any more. If you want me to look at a specific casino's t&c, give me the name.

Syntax, you needed to be keeping a track of how much you've wagered. Luckily for you, William Hill keeps a note for you. Goto the cashier and click "my account". From the webpage that opens, chose "casino specific information" (or something very similar). That'll show you exactly how much you have left to wager. If it says 0, you can withdraw your balance.

Playing through bet365 at the moment, you put 100 deposit , they give you a hundred, black jack is allowed to count towards bonus, i just cant find anywhere that tells me how much I've wagerered. 40 pounds up just on my money at the moment though! Was 60 at one stage :o

Nice!

Not same story here, I am still hovering at my £125 mark, but feeling really nervous, as the hands are very unpredictable.

Still not wavering from the wizard of odds table, so I am hoping that sees me through ok. :D

Oh right! Well Cheeko did mention above that Will Hill tell you, but will defo bear that in mind if I do another one.

I will check how much left to go...

It says 1237, I thought it started at £1250 :D

I'm going to try that William Hill thing too. I had a dry run on the practice mode and I quickly went a hundred up. Also, for any combination not on that Wizard of Odds table, eg. a total of 6 or a total of 19, I just hit or stick as appropriate, right? And what does the "Insurance" option mean?

thats whave ive been doing yeah.

Insurance means if the dealer gets an ace, you can "buy" insurance on the hand in case he gets blackjack, in which case you get 2:1 or something, but as wizard of odds says, its not worth it.

Im 85 pounds up now without the bonus, ho lol. When is it going to crumble, like a castle made of cards :D

I can't connect using their download client. Does the browser Flash client count for this?

Edit: It appears that the Flash client doesn't give you the bonus. Bastard uni firewall.

NEVER waiver from the table. EVER. Be a machine playing these bonuses. It's nothing more than expecting positive value from gambling. Not playing "perfect" BJ is a recipe for disaster.

Im sticking to it, but it goes on some crazy rolls.

I have been up at £185, Im now back to £140, I just didnt expect to see those sort of fluctuations. I would of been happier sitting on around the £130-£140 mark the full time.

Its obviously rigged though. The dealer gets some hands were for about 10 or 20 on a row his showing card is ALWAYS a 10/Q/K/Or Ace.

Firstly, variance is quite large playing such games. Secondly, if these "reputable" online casinos were found to be in any way rigged beyond the ordinary edge all casinos ever have, then they'd be screwed. Casinos win because they have the long term edge. It's that simple. They don't need to cheat. Just suck it up and realise you're playing a game which, fundamentally, once you're playing "perfect" strategy (assuming no card counting, etc) it's all down to luck and you're still in a losing position. The only thing making you a winner is those bonuses.

Well I played it out for the bonus. Got it with £60 left in the bank!

so played the tenner out to leave me with my original £50 I put in :D

what a fucking wasted afternoon.

Oh well, at least there is now a negative story to counter all the positive ones for anyone else who fancies giving this a go.

Maybe they are not rigged, I dunno, but when you virtually know every hand the dealer gets showing is going to be a face card then it starts to seem a bit weird.

Hey ho. When Im in a better mood I might consider trying another one :)

hmm bet365 is a 100 bonus, which means youd have come out with 40 on top, but that's bad luck there, that is.

I've gone from putting in 100 , 100 bonus, to 22, 280, down to 140, up to 220. I think I'm getting near the end of the amount of mone yI need to wager but I don't want to ask in case I look like a whore :)

Think about how many Tens / Face cards there are in a deck...

16 out of 52 - pretty good odds that there will be a Ten there. Multiple decks make no difference, you're still expecting a Ten card nearly 31% of the time.

Well in that case its a rubbish game :)

Well playing by the book, anf going from my one time lofty position of £190, down to £50 is pretty gutting. Even when the dealer got something like a 6 as his shown card I was literally rhyming his cards out before they appeared, "6, 10" :D

Well, its good this has made people aware of the dangers, even though theoretically I was actually £10 up when I cleared the bonus.

Never take insurance.

Keep at it Syntax, they aren't rigged. You'll go ahead and stay ahead just as often as you lose your money.

I never did take insurance :)

I guess I just hit a bad streak today.

I will try another one tomorrow. It was so disapointing cause, I mentioned, I was up a good £60 outwith the bonus at one point. But then I hit a severe losing streak. The Dealer kept hitting 20 after twenty! Ack.

Its quite stressful though. Still, Im willing to do one more tomorrow seeing as I am not actually down.

any recomendations on one to do now? The one I did today was William Hill.

Also what size of stake do you recomend? I started on £1, but when I the realised it was taking a while and moved onto £3 per hand.

That's a tricky question when you're starting.

At a guess if you don't know how to play BJ perfectly you're looking at the table for most hands and playing quite slowly. I don't know whether to suggest playing £1 hands so that the winning principle is forced home, or whether to say play bigger hands so that your (probable) slow wagering is over quite quickly.

All I would suggest is playing to learn the perfect strat...it won't take long before you have it down. Perhaps you should try eurobet and coral next, they have nice low wagering requirements, although you have to meet the WR before you get the bonus.

Right, playing bet.365, things going much better.

I am half way through my requirement to collect my £100 bonus. However I am currently £100 up.

should I just quit and take the £100 I have? Or maybe should I just switch down to £1 per hand bets to reduce any further variance, or should I continue as I am? :)

Ok, by my calculations that should be me clear for the bonus on bet.365. I finished by winning £102 from my initial £100 deposit. With the £100 bonus to come that puts me at a nice little £302 for 83 mins work B) Much better than William Hill.

You only need to bet ten times your initial deposit. So I did a £1,000 in £3 hands in blackjack. That was 333 hands of blackjack.

However my bonus isnt showing as withdrawable yet? How long did yours take to appear John Waters?

In general the rule is to ALWAYS play on. You'd be passing up an even better offer if you just withdrew. Good going so far by the way.

Here's how I've done so far this month: (all monthly bonuses unless stated otherwise)

-75 Blue Square

+25 Coral

+25 Eurobet

+25 Hard Rock

+150 Ladbrokes

-7 Littlewoods

+25 Paddypower

-50 Piggs Peak (Signup - didn't read the t&c's properly and ended up busting out on this one :/)

+245 Skybet (Signup - the high rollers one, biggest deposit i've ever made to a casino)

+130 Victor Chandler

+7 Willhill

Makes £500 up, on the dot.

I dont feel too bad now, I felt like I was the only person ever to lose on these bonus things today! Guess it was maybe good to start on a loss.

Anyway, finished my requirement on bet.365 My finishing total was £161.50 for my initial outlay of £100. With my bonus on top I now have withdrawable funds of £261.50 B)

Took me about 3 hours in total. Not a bad return.

However I think it just goes to show how hard it is to win at balckjack without the safety net of the bonus structure to fall back on. Following the wizard of odds sheet to a tee though gives you conidence, and you dont beat yourself up over lost hands, because you know you still did the right thing statisticlly.

anyway, I think thats enough for one day :D

Yeah, I played like, 3800 pounds worth of hands, lol. Didn't realise I could check via the comp points. Still, I ended up 100 pounds bonus + 50 profit, I can't believe some of these things are monthly. Chortle.

Only problem: I'm getting RSI :D

I mark them down as I play them in batches of five (cant remember what thats called again) asI play them. I feel better when I can visually see how far I have to go.

Plan to do another one today...

The 72hour wait before I can collect my profit from willhill is almost up, not touching anything till that's back in the bank, then I'm off again :(

EDIT: also, a tactic I use, and I have no idea whether this does anything but after I've had a really good run and am on a profit and I suddenly get a few losing hands I log out, and log back in, its more of a superstition thing I guess but I feel like I'm resetting the odds :D

I'll be joining you guys on this at the start of next month. Not enough cash for it at the moment. This plus more poker 1st deposit, monthly and reload bonuses will hopefully push up my earning to past £500 next month (in that actual month). Not got loads of time for it but an extra £500 isn't to be sniffed at!

first bad run, bet365 100 bonus, dealer hits everything, if he has a 10 then the other card is a 10, I have 17 he has 18, me 20 him 21, the most ridiculous run, went from 200, now on 90, do you think I should carry on or just leave it?

Edit: I swallowed my pride, dropped the bet from 3 to 2 and carried on, ended up 45pounds profit, woohoo!
