Not a good sign, I got my call about a fortnight ago. Ring them an see whats happening with your order.

i went in last week and they said they honestly didn't know how many they are getting in. I'm number 17 on the list.

Hold on my phones ringing

$1200! you'd think they'd at least try and find one in a shop before parting with that kind of money.

Yeah, or wait a couple of weeks till there's more stock on the shelves. I'm guessing there are none of the shelves right now though as the guy selling the 360 for $1200 sold a few over the last couple of days for 'only' $500 ish. Now people have been down to the shops and seen the shelves bare they pay stupid money.

More fool them I say. I still resent people buying 15-20 consoles purely to sell on at a profit but that's only because I didn't think ahead/couldn't be arsed/would feel bad :)

Anyone ordered from GAME online?

Apparantly, ALL preorders are getting cancelled that didnt get emailed with a 100% confirmation for launch, and stock will be put up on a first come, first serve basis...

This has got to be bullshit. Surely it would make more sense to merely mark the second batch of consoles to the next in line in the preorder list. Doesnt make sense to just throw them out left, right and centre.

what's annoys me the most about this preorder malarkey is the two diffrerent packs bollocks. obviouusly everyone who pre-ordered wants the Premium Pack but we've had to wait until now to find out whether we're getting one. if we're not we have to go through another pre-order prcoess for the Core Pack. it's so badly thought out.

specialist retailers like Game and Gameplay should have had the option where if the Premiums have all gone you'll have Core instead.

i appreciate MS giving people the option but considering the limited numbers and the fact that anyone selling them is doing in bundles anyway, means it doesn't work for launch.

core PLUS free upgrade via retail packs of wireless pads etc...

unless... OMG! That was the plan all along!!!

FORCE people to buy the core PLUS the addons!!!

obviously the plan has always been to get people to buy add-ons, but having this two tiered approach means that you got all the people trying to reserve the premium pack. even if they'd made them all Core for launch it would have been a better system. as it stands it's a mess.

Just rang Game online to see what the situation was.

Basically said that if you have a Pro pack coming, you have already been emailed. If you haven't had an email , you aren't getting one at launch and further stock will made available on a first come first serve basis. If you pre-ordered a core pack, then they expect to fulfill all pre-orders on launch day. Thier also maybe a small amount of core pack available at launch in store.
