Why the rush to 70 though. Surely with so much new content to explore people will want to explore that before they get set into running the same place every night for months. Or is that just me?

i`ll be getting to 70 as quick as i can as usual, but i`m not bothered about running places over and over with nice people

I'm just going to go with the flow. I see a lot of conflict/drama on the horizon for well, everyone, really.

Some people want to stay with their guilds now, others will want to go back to their roots, or back to playing with previous guilds, etc.

Will it be possible for all those in a given raiding guild to stay and raid later on?

Is it a bit 'dodgy' to have been raiding with a guild for ages and to leave again to go elsewhere? Like it'd just be a stop-gap, or a service station on the road to your real destination? hmm

With people who will inevitably leave, maybe the problems won't actually be that huge. Those who want to go back to their roots will and those who want to stay wherever will be able.

I'm a bit scared/worried. I know very little about the expansion, I didn't want to spoil myself, so I'm a bit eeek! as there's people who basically have a complete plan it seems of what they are going to do, and are prepared for it.

I know next to nothing about it too. But it's arriving at a perfect time for me as I should hit 60 just before it arrives so I can just carry on as usual.

Muk could really do with a bit of a recruitment drive though. We only have about 10-15 regular players and about 6 of them are at 60. It'd be nice to be able to do the the 10 man stuff as a guild even if we have to pug the 25 man bits.

A level 70 Pally has managed to do the 45 mins Strat Baron quest solo on the US beta now. What that goes to show I have no idea to be honest.

It shows that lvl 70 makes lvl 55-60 content easy I guess. What spec was he though?

I'm going to be exploring it all. I love new stuff, so theres no rush for me. Focussing on the here and now at the moment, and getting marks of honor, then pvping the night away so to speak over Chrimbo.

Oh, and for Mr Jeff: Check out this thread

I know its on Atiesh, but look at Drysc's 2nd post I think it is on speaking of not going to Nax at all after Expansion. I'll quote the part thats relevant:

"There's still a lot of good gear there, Atiesh or not, and I think it would be somewhat foolish to completely ignore it once the expansion comes out."

How are people in big raid guilds planning on handling the expansion? Been reading a few threads about it on the official forums, and was wondering how you see it going?

You full well know the answer, it'll be the DRAMAH we all crave

Initially I think all will be fine, there's enough 5-10 man content and solo stuff to accommodate the 60-70 section. But what happens when we reach the point we're currently at, where at 60 you either raid, PvP, farm or don't log on?

Let's use our raid Sirloin as an example. Rather than the obvious approach of kicking, lets form 2 25-man raids, A and B.

I think we have 2 outstanding tanks, a few good ones and a handful of guys I never see which is possibly for the best. You think the raid will give A and B one of our "outstanding tanks" each, or give both to A?

We can only dream of the fighting over why aren't I in A group :)

It could all be the best thing ever though. Everybody says they prefer doing smaller instances with people they like, abolishing the need for 70+ member guilds can only help in this regard.

There's going to be some top competition. Who can make the best Drameh. ER or Draenor.

Will The Venture Co ever rise again to the high tensions of Moonglade 06, landing a shock 1000/1 gamble for wily punters? Or has this young realm already passed its dramatic prime?

Tune in at level 61 for "You Killed My Questmob, Prepare To Die", "True Paladins Kill Level One Blood Knights", and much much more.

Yeah I reckon doing the new 5 mans a few times will be the best way to get early XP.

I agree, but at least Blizz seem to have made the quest mobs in Hellfire Peninsula on quite a high respawn rate in my (limited) experience.

I dunno yet, but making a new character after expansion seems to be the best bet for me, at least Horde side. I can do without the hassle that my Shaman has/will have getting a guild, and everything I've read so far makes Paladins out to be a far more favourable choice for me anyway.

On Alliance, I can do the 60+ content with my Paladin there, and who knows, I may just end up making that my main, and not bothering with Horde other than for PvP perhaps. Its all up in the air for me at the moment.

Or more likely, a hundred threads on the forums along the lines of "YOGS ganking at the Portal!" "YOGS Killed me at Hellfire!!"

The only controversy on Ravenholt comes in the form of a lowbie ganking Tauren Shamen named Linzi, at least you have tensions.

Someone muttered something about the respawn rates in the new zones being tied to how fast mobs are killed - so the the more people questing, the faster they respawn.

Sounds like a disaster waiting to happen to-me tbh. but you can hope

I know that XP and respawn are 'increased' on the BETA servers tho :)

It's gonna be crowded - no doubt about that - I guess we have to hope they've not made it too linear and that people will quickly disperse and some progress will be possible...

The 'still running Naxx after TBC' idea was muttered in our guild too - but I think it's DEEPLY unlikely - unless we're VERY VERY close to killing KT I just don't see people leaving all that shiny-new content alone 5 nights a week...

People will reform new 'groups within groups' - whether guilds will remain together depends more on the personal aspect of it than anything to do with grouping/instances really - however else you look at it tho - it's a game-changing event...

I can understand the reasoning behind that but can you imagine trying to persuade a group of 40 people at level 65-ish really to go back to an instance that will ikely still require quite a few expensive consumables to get a couple of items for a handful of people when the exact same ammount of time could be spent in 5-man dungeons getting gear equal to or better than such things?

Don't get me wrong, I'd love to ceomplete Naxxramas and I'd love to see the 4 horsemen, sapphiron and kel'thuzad but how many others will really want to put in all that time and effort just to say "right, we've finished the level 60 content at last, lets crack on"?

It was some time ago, so I may be mistaken, but it seemed they did something rather similar in the first couple of days TVC was up (although most mobs in those zones were neutral, so them respawning on people wasn't an issue). The starting zones were pretty packed back then too, but probably nothing like as bad as the new zones will be in Jan.

You should read the lfg on the Horde side, every time a load of level 60s catch up with her we get "Help your queen is under attack! Come to Linzi's aid!"

Thing is she's actually a pretty good pvper anyway, why she wants to hang aroung ganking low levels is anyone's guess. It's funny I think
