Has anyone heard anything regarding stock availability at Argos?

Considering they were GUARANTEED for launch day, it's all gone very quiet.

I have sent them an email which they have kindly agreed to respond to within 4 days.

The woman at Argos wouldn't take my preorder in October.

The thing is with Argos,Tesco's and Adsa.

The staff are old women with perms who dont have a clue what it is and call it a "Xbox Three Hundred and Sixty"

The old dear at my local Tesco's said...Oooh I'm not sure, I'd just come in on Friday afternoon and ask then

That's the date on my order confirmation email, I think I may have placed the order on the day before though (Sunday).

I called them today and they said they would be dispatched and delivered on Friday. We'll receive any time between 8am and 6pm.

Don't they usually just ship from the nearest big Argos store? That's why you get stuff same day.

I actually wish no one had taken pre-orders as there are people who have obviously oversubscribed on their needs. I'm sure those of us who actually want one would've had no problem strolling into any given store at 9am tomorrow morning had this been the case.

I ordered with an incorrect fucking email address so can't check order. I called the other day and everything was cool but I am still a little worried. They said they couldn't correct the email???

Due to high demand the Xbox 360 will be in short supply until next year. Limited stocks will be available for home delivery in Dec/Jan, restricted to one per customer.
