472 bells in japan. Is this good? Does anyone want to visit? this turnip malarkey is new to me.

And how do i get turnips? Assume I grow them? How? Sorry i know i should look this up/work it out but any quick pointer would help.

472 is probably good for those who missed Kris Doe.

Someone named Sow Joan should appear in your town on Sundays. You buy turnips from her. But they only last for 7 days, IIRC, so you need to sell them before they go rotten.

What's the advantage of keeping your money in the post office? Is there interest.. can you get robbed/lose money?

I recently received a letter from the Post Office, telling me that I'd gained over 77,000 in interest. You can't get robbed, or lose money thankgod.

thanks for popping over drewthmsn and tek. You both gave me loads of cool stuff but i think it got mixed up so I don't know whose was what. But i think drewthmsn paid off my second mortgage and tek gave loads of cool stuff I'm yet to examine... wicked.

Working for the next couple of hours but will occasionally check the forum in case anyone needs adding and will leave gate open.

I have 213 this evening. I know it's not as good as my 487 this morning or the 600+ figure Kris Doe had yesterday but if you want to get rid of them at 213 you can come over. I've added you in case you want to.

If you do come over, can you please buy something from the store so I can get the final store upgrade.
