yeah me and a mate played the turtles in time remake. Its okay but we got annoyed that we got to shredder and died having to restart all the way from the beggining (f*ck that). I imagine it would be easier with 4 players.

Just seemed a bit basic, with only one real fight button.

So having never played through Duke Nukem 3D before but being a big fan of the original Doom and Doom 2 is Duke Nukem worth getting for 400 points? I've played the demo before and it seemed alright, but I think there was plenty else out at that time which distracted me.

I hope the Street Fighter Avatat sucks really bad. I promised myself I would never spent a single MS point on such crap but FFS Street Fighter is my weakness and if looks decent... ;)

Exactly this. I've pretty much asked my house mates to hold me back. My avatar hasn't changed since I first made it and I always said I'd never by avatar junk with my precious MS points. I'm hoping it's just logo t-shirts, because if they're character accessories I'll be dangerously tempted. I guess I could just hold out and see if you can get a rose and some blue boxing gloves come the end of April.

Megaman 10 will be out on the 31st of March as well.

Tremendously excited about this. Myself and my housemates have made Megamn 9 a bit of a project. We've all agreed to schedule a day at some point to finish it off. We've all taken out our individually assigned bosses and we've made it to the boss of Wily stage 3, so we're not that far off. It will be conquered before 10 drops, and then the process begins again. :(

I played it through and completed it a couple of months back. It still holds up today, packed with great ideas and interesting levels.

The last boss is an utter, utter c**t though.

On the latest Sentuamessage they've said that Doom II is actually finished but there's been no mention of when it'll actually be released.

If I were a betting man (which I'm not) I'd say they'll do the same as they did for the first and release it at E3.

Just played through the 3 new arcade game demos:

Fret Nice - Didn't really enjoy it. Maybe it's difficult to assess having only played it on the pad and not on a guitar, but I can't see this being worth the 1200msp.

Lazy Raider - Really enjoyed the demo. I can see myself picking this one up.

Greed Corp - I need more time with this, the tutorial was really long and generally unhelpful. It feels like it has potential, but my lunch time isn't long enough :)

Oh what? I thought this'd be a cheap and cheerful 800. Might give the trial a bash anyway, just for curiosity's sake.

Same here, all seemed a bit slow and floaty, plus the matching up of monsters seemed to make my head spin once they got past being just eyes. Even on a guitar I'm not sure the abstract nature of what you're matching on would make easier? Are they parts colour coded? Didn't notice if they were.

Lazy Raider - Really enjoyed the demo. I can see myself picking this one up.

Seemed OK if a bit stomach turning for the first 4 levels but then on the 5th I got into a cycle of just dying because I couldn't avoid the theif so I gave up. I can see joypad hurling infuriation.

Best of the bunch for me, needs a few plays to get your head around the tactics of it though. Unless I'm just thick.
