this is great fabric CD , felt the series went off the boil for a while but this is spot on

Just joined - got this one which is brilliant and also Fabric 3 free - I'd forgotten I was getting another CD. So that was nice. It's OK too - quite a good one.

Yes, it is Jon Marsh. Very enjoyable. I'll have to listen to it again 26 has been getting cd-drive time.

I'd also like to applaud my post that you quoted. For being complete total and utter bollocks that managed to repeat itself twice without actually saying anything.

Brilliant! The Herbaliser cd turned up this morning!

Disaster! It's bent to buggery and I can't get the tin open!

Shit that is bad :( If you give them a call on Monday though they should be able to swap it over for you.One of mine last year was scratched to hell and they sorted me out a replacement and sent me a free CD as well.

My copy turned up this morning but I havent had chance to listen to it.Just off to checkl mine isnt knackered too

Mine arrived safe and sound this morning.

Yup, mine too.

Glad they're OK about replacements though - as much as I love the packaging it does always seem to be trying to get the CD as scratched as possible. Even though none of them have been scratched.

I can't say I like this new Herbaliser mix. Although there is a healthy portion of funk throughout, there is far too much dodgy UK hip hop. Any non-subscribers want it for £7 delivered?

That last Bugz in the Attic track is ace though.

I don't know - theres plenty of poor tracks but there are some really nice bits in there. Far from perfect but worth the price I think.

I'm quite picky when it comes to cd's though. I like to listen to the whole thing without skipping tracks. There are indeed some nice bits but I've grabbed unmixed mp3's off Soulseek for the cream of the crop.

Fair enough.

I tend to listen to Fabric (and similar) compilations while working, with a skip button two inches from where I'm typing.

And I'm not afraid to use it.

They didn't respond to my email about a replacement, so I prized the casing open with a screwdriver, pleasingly the cd is OK. Not really too bothered about it as I don't think this will be taking pride of place in the CD collection. Pretty poor overall I'd say. Some dreadful UK hip-hop is the main problem, and also the only deck skills on display is the brief Coldcut/Eric B & Rakim interlude. There's no real flow to it either.

Ho Hum.
