Theres another version with a GT wheel - not sure if thats part of the limited Sega Rally pack either.

With 250 tracks, i'm not sure what to expect. They've used some middleware engine to produce them (it was supposed to be included with the game too).

Sonic Heroes was built in Renderware, so you think maybe... OH MY!?!

just for the record, I think those screenshots look like a smoked-up Pub projector, with one of the lenses out of alignment, on woodchip wallpaper

The latest Famitsu gave it 26/40 so they don't think much of it either

once again, i'll say shame that's not how famitsu mark their games - each individual score should not be added together. it's a mark from a particular type of gamer.. casual/hardcore etc..

kind of funny that people always spout this, "famitsu gave it x out of 40" but cant read the review, then misconstrue the scoring system..

More like, they look like they've been badly scanned and rescaled.

It's OUT THERE right now, and it's turned out very nicely.

Widescreen, great framerate, looks alright, feels excellent.

You know how Outrun 2 was kinda like driving a slot car? How you'd lock onto lines and follow them, straight as an arrow, at what feels like a snail's pace? Well, it's the exact opposite of that.

In SR06, you fly around the circuits at such insane speed, sliding and bouncing everywhere, I don't think I've ever played a game where I've felt so utterly out of control, and yet simultaneously entirely in control. It's like being on a rollercoaster made of ice and KY jelly. I was swaying left and right in my seat, like I haven't done since about 1994.

Maybe I'll be in a minority, since it appears the knives are already out for the game, but I reckon it's a fucking blast. I haven't had this much pure, simple fun with a driving game since Burnout 2.

Cool, mine's on it's way, and I bought it partly for the prospect of owning an arcade perfect version of Rally 1995. (crosses fingers)

It's been a while, but it feels arcade perfect to me. Looks like it's just being emulated, and has the option to pause and restart. There's no options menu, so I have no idea if it supports a wheel.
