I can only hope the 3DS will emulate that success. And although that seemed unlikely some months ago, it too is now coming into its own, and hopefully this year's TGS will offer us a glimpse of the greatness we may expect over the course of the next two years.

Unless Nintendo decides to completely focus on the WiiU, and deliver the same poor show we got at this year's E3...

The problem with relying on TGS for this is the machine's region lock. Several of my favourite DS games never got released in the UK, such as Jump! Ultimate Stars, and I don't know if Phoenix Wright would have ever made it abroad without importers proving it out.

Same goes for Elite Beat Agents. You def. got a point, but most of what I consider the best DS titles would've made it over here nonetheless. I think. Except for Radiant Historia. Why that didn't make it to the old continent, will remain a mystery to me. It was a huge success in the US, surely that could've been duplicated in Europe?

RPG, yeah? Expensive to localise. You've got to be really sure about them.

CeX are good for used DS games, I've used them a few times and the games are generally in good condition and have always been genuine and their website makes it easy to find out what they have in stock. Play-Asia have bargains occasionally and while everyone lost faith in VG+ after they were hacked they are still good for older titles although they do seem to jack up the price of Atlus titles a few months after a while, Etrian Odyssey II is currently £53 on their site!
