Scarlett and Parrot loan moves will do them some good. There had been questions over Parrot’s lifestyle a couple of years ago, but hearing him talk about an epiphany he had halfway through his MK Dons loan where he realised he was in danger of pissing away his career is very reassuring. Future strike pairing perhaps ?

Good positive start and cruised to the win after a silly goal conceded, sounds like the score could have been more and 4 goals with non e from Kane or Son is a good sign.

Looking forward to MOTD later. Can see Southampton struggling badly this season though.

Yeah Son missed a couple that you'd normally bet on him scoring and missed giving Kane a tap-in. On the flip side Kulusevski looks even better than he did last season, as did Bentancur, and Sessegnon & Emerson have come on a lot as WBs with a proper Conte preseason too.

Nice result today. Only saw the highlights but they seemed to be winning the ball really high up the pitch and creating a lot of chances.

Pat Nevin today suggested that the Chelsea players didn’t look fit. Next weekend could be a good time to play them, before their new back four bed in.

Didn’t watch the game really, but a Chelsea mate insists they were robbed. I did see the ‘foul’ that Havertz was going on about before the first Spurs goal and from one of the angles Bentancur did get the ball.

Yeah he did get a slight touch on the ball. It might well have been a foul but it's one of those decisions you just have to accept.

Overall Spurs were poor but I think I'll always take a draw at Stamford Bridge.

The manager red cards were a bit harsh I thought.

Sanchez is a decent defender, he is just terrible on the ball, especially compared to Romero.

The good thing is even as a backup he at least always looks like he gives 100% - no question at all about his attitude. I'd love him to pop up with a goal.

Yeah, on paper that looks like a favourable draw. We often make things harder than they should be though, and I don’t think Conte’s record as a manager in the CL is particularly good either. As ever with Spurs, I’m cautious in my optimism 😆

On paper that is a good draw, but for the excitement I'd like to have been in with a 'bigger' club - and I'd rather Spurs be an underdog in the group rather than favourites.

Dele going to Turkey is just mad, he was a £100 million player a few years back.
