A pity, as I think he’s brought in some good players.

 

Levy should be bending over backwards to bring Paul Mitchell back to the club, as he’s leaving Monaco in the summer, and was responsible for assembling a very decent side at Spurs for Pochettino.

I wouldn't be too surprised if we got Potter in. He'll be leaving Chelsea at the end of the season surely? Then they'll get a good manager in while we chase the leftovers. An absolute shambles from top to bottom.

Its going to be Poch, he has clearly been waiting and we have now done our bit with Conte - I read that both parties have to wait until the end of the season contractually so it all makes sense.

Rodgers is a clown who I wouldn’t want anywhere near my club.

 

He also won the FA cup in his second season at Leicester. It took him 2 attempts at a new club, Spurs have had 32 attempts since 1990 and not won it. I think if Brendan Rodgers had 64 attempts at winning the FA Cup and league cup he'd have more than just 2 to show for it over 32 years like Spurs have. Who is the clown, Rodgers and his many trophies at multiple clubs in 6 years or Spurs with their measly if not pathetic 2 league cups in 32 years. If clubs can be clowns. 

 

I'm not trying to annoy, I wouldn't have minded Rodgers at Man United.

The issue is that in reality the FA cup win is worthless, if Spurs won an FA cup and finished 9th we dont keep players like Kane or attract players who demand champions league - we may not like it but thats the harsh reality of it and our board is very much a business who will not buy their way to the top - what has he done since the FA cup win other than leave a team facing relegation?!?

 

That aside Rodger’s isnt good enough, you can go on about the Scottish success but that is irrelevant, if you look at premier league stats Rodger’s has got a worse win ratio than any Spurs manager since he has been in the league - thats right, Villas-Boas, Sherwood et al all have better win ratios than Rodger’s and that includes his Liverpool years when he had a hell of a squad that frankly he failed with.

 

So yes, personally I despise him - he has zero class and is a self interested hype machine - he got the Liverpool job on the back of success he didnt actually build or achieve but was happy to take the plaudits for but statistically, regardless of my personal views, he simply isnt good enough.

Apparently he & Levy already don't get along, and that's just with whatever limited contact they've had over the years! 

 

There's going to be a lot of movement in the summer, so I think the current strategy of waiting until then is for the best. There was a report of Zidane being interested in another return to Real Madrid too, which changes the landscape a lot.

As long as the new manager gets us playing attacking football again, I am not fussed who takes over really. Winning things isn’t why I support Spurs, I just want to be entertained, the last four seasons have been such a slog to watch even when we were winning.

Same here. I don't mind losing so much if I've been entertained. We never really seem to score good goals these days. It's usually a bit of magic from one or two players.

I’d say Stellini and Mason have fucked their audition after that bullshit. Apparently in the last four games Sanchez has been subbed on, we’ve let a goal in within 15 minutes.

 

It was written in the stars -

Newcastle had already lost, and when was the last time Spurs actually took advantage of that sort of situation ?

I know we are shit right now, but fuck me, how about looking at yourself before you start to blame the players.  Conte had the same problem.

 

The fact that we had 5 strikers on at the end of the game leaving ‘Berg in midfield on his todd just shows how fucking bad Stellini is at his job.  It’s no wonder the Dane was at fault for the Cherry’s winner.  And why the fuck was Sarr not bought on? 

 

Get this Conte wannabe out of the club and give it to Mason for the rest of the season.  Go 4-4-3 and let’s get Danjuma and Richie playing from the off.

Also, just fucking get Poch in for the next season before he goes elsewhere.

The problem is the board don't give a shit about the style of football. This tripe has lost me - I'm not watching us again until we have a new manager. I hope we lose every game until the end of the season.
