£15 profit on totesport. I was a dickhead and lost a load of £5 bets. Things got a bit hairy and it was a case of can I or can I not save my deposit.

Happy times!

Stick to the system!! LOW bets!!

I've been trying a few sites the last couple of days, using blackholebonus as a guide:

Virgin: paid in £51, withdrew £84.50

Coral: paid in £50 withdrew £70

GetMinted: paid in £50, withdrew £106.50

So decent enough I think. £110 profit.

So I decided to try out 32red using autoplay. £100 in. Within 300 hands I'm £90 down :)

Still need to play over 2000 hands. How can I salvage that?

(Probable answer: you can't)

I think i've been fairly lucky on the actual games...

Virgin - In: £51 Out: £196.50

Coral - In: £75 Out: £215.50

Get minted - In: £50 Out: £81

Also... Bet 365 - In: £100 Out: 409.50

I wagered £500 on getminted at about 8pm yesterday and I received an email stating my bonus had been credited an hour or so ago.

Well I wagered a bit more (around £600 in total now) just to be sure before I saw your post.

OK, I thought, it'll just take a little bit longer, no problem.

Then I clicked on 'my account' and saw this:

Now I know for a fact I've wagered ~£600, so why is it saying I've only done £335? Is it even saying that?

I bet almost all 5's that time with the very occasional 10.

I know i'm bound to lose say a hundred at some point but i'm doing ok doing things my way!!

Oh and I seem to lose more single bets than I win but I win the vast majority of doubles which brings it back in nicely.

I follow the colour charts very closely also but tend to play the normal blackjack games rather than the various other types.

I saw out my 32red bonus and I'm only taking out £68.50 from that. Still I'm up overall so I can't complain.

I just wish I had Richard's luck...

Also, I have the urge to keep autoplaying to see if I can bump the 32red back up to £100. After being down to around £50 it went back up to £160 at one point, but was back down to £70 by the time I reached the wager requirement.

I know I shouldn't be playing this to win money from the game itself, just getting the bonus, so someone tell me not to go chasing the money please. It's stupid, isn't it?

Guys, there is a wagering system called sweeping. The principle is to take maximum advantage of your win streaks and, although it increases the variance, in the long term it won't make any difference to your expected return. Basically, if you win a certain number of hands in a row, you double your wager. When you lose, you drop back to your base rate.

Pesonally I use this system:

Bet 1 win, bet 1 win, bet 2 win, bet 2 win, bet 4 win, bet 4 lose, bet 1 etc.

It cuts wagering time very effectively, and gives the odd big win. Of couse, I wipe out more often than I would flat betting too.

ok, i'll tell you - just leave it ;)

look at it this way, if you play at another casino, you're just as likely to win/lose as you are continuing with 32red. but, at a new casino, you will be working your way towards a new bonus. so what's the point in betting somewhere where you won't be working towards more bonus?

gaaahhh. lost £75 to virgin last night. (deposited 50, left with 25 after bonus - yes I did keep playing after the bonus).

I was following the table 100%, only betting £1 but my account just trickled down and down.

So with that and getminted about 6 hours work has got me about £30.. that's below minimum wage!

Right I think I've wagered £500 on GetMinted now but the bonus hasn't appeared yet, how long should it take?

About 3 days, they take the longest of any casino I've got up on blackholebonus.com to credit your bonus.

Is that just your totals for that particular day, not overall? Also, I've had a look at your blog, thank you very kindly for including links to my sites on there, it's much appreciated. Good luck at the casinos.

Why the buggery doesn't VC Casino have a Turbo mode? Its by far the slowest sodding blackjack implementation ever. Its like watching some cocky A level students flash animation for his IT project.

Yes, it's quite shit isn't it.

Beautifully explained why you shouldn't chase it by kev:

Sweepering/Sweeping is a bad idea. I can't find any specific literature on it but here is the Wizard of Odds "The Truth About Betting Systems" page: http://wizardofodds.com/gambling/bettingsystems.html

Right at the bottom under "A Fourth Experiment" is the $20,000 bounty "The Wizard" offered anyone who could show him a betting system that beat the house. Only one serious taker in 10 years. He lost. Details here: http://wizardofodds.com/gambling/challenge2.html

Whilst I can't prove that sweeping is crap, I think it's implied by the above links. No offence like, but it's just not worth doing.

Edit: Found some. http://www.rpoints.com/bb/viewtopic.php?t=...er=asc&start=23 Not as damning as I'd hoped but hey, the limitations are all laid out.

Stop playing after the bonus, douchebag! The system works AS IS, do not add, modify, or baste and simmer for any period of time.

I didn't say that sweeping is better in terms of increasing your edge. I said that the EV is exactly the same as flat betting - I said that it was better (in my opinion) because it cuts wagering time.

As an aside, the wizard and every other statistical analysis assumes a fair game.

Good point. But I'm still not convinced the EV is the same as flat betting.

Sorry, I didn't mean EV, I'm talking crap, I meant house advantage. By playing flat betting the HA is whatever the rules of the game make it. By playing sweepering I'm sure you lose more often than you don't, effectively making it a larger HA. It does cut wagering time though, I'll give you that.

Could be worse...I lost my way through £100 last night at Intercasino (£50 mine, £50 bonus). I'm debating whether to deposit any more money to make it through the last £250 of the W/R. I'm thinking the odds are against me.

So I tried getminted since they ahd kindly deposited my bonus. And promptly lost my own £50 having only played £200 of the W/R. I then turned the computer off in disgust.

I think its divine retribution for the £200 profit I made from Coral and Littlewoods on Tuesday...
