Could be worse...I lost my way through £100 last night at Intercasino (£50 mine, £50 bonus). I'm debating whether to deposit any more money to make it through the last £250 of the W/R. I'm thinking the odds are against me.

No! Intercasino doesn't work like that. Once you've lost your deposit & bonus, that's it until next month. It doesn't roll over into next month if that's what you're thinking.

So I don't need to finish March's W/R as I wiped out completely to play April's? I just stick £50 in April and the W/R is as normal (as its a monthly)

Although I'm not sure I want to darken their door again...evil place. The runs the dealer had were just incredible...

So I tried getminted since they ahd kindly deposited my bonus. And promptly lost my own £50 having only played £200 of the W/R. I then turned the computer off in disgust.

I think its divine retribution for the £200 profit I made from Coral and Littlewoods on Tuesday...

Ah, my sympathies mate.. well it's all good good experience. It's a funny old game this - does weird irrational stuff to your mind. You know you should quit but your fingers keep clicking.

Virgin is a distant memory now having done coral - I actually blew all my deposit at one stage (£5 betting) so put down another £20 for 15 minutes of wagering until my bonus.. and then had a great run (still £5 betting) ended up £136 up overall (incl. £25 monthly bonus). Swings and roundabouts. :)

I had a problem with the dealer's hands at Virgin, four blackjacks in a row, I had one the entire time I was playing.

yes.. i felt this too. I know it's basically impossible but I really felt that something was wrong. Like, as you say, the dealer getting loads of Blackjacks - if he put down an ace the next would always be a 10 or royal. And if I was ever dealt 15 (and the table says 'hit') i'd always be bust with the next card.. became really predictable. The other 2 casinos I've done haven't felt like this at all.

Coincidentally, Virgin is one of the very few casinos where I think the play is suspect. Also worth pointing out that they've just cut blackjack from their signup bonus. I would've thought that Getminted & its clones won't be far behind so if you've not already done them...

been doing VC all bloody day, finished £220 down on my deposit, i suppose i'll still make a profit unless wagering my bonus through goes horribly wrong.

this shit performance is partly my fault, i was doing incredibly shit, then realised "hang on a minute, theres 5 queens on the table. i'm playing the wrong bloody version!"

i'd lost a lot by then, lowest i went was only £10 left of my deposit, so for ages i was doing £1 wagers. eventually dragged myself back up to a sensible level so i could do bigger wagers, but then got a massive bad run (mostly on £1 wagers!) which took me back down.

so... well, half of me is glad i didn't lose anything, the other half is pissed off that i'm going to get so little out of such a long time.

oh well. more casinos to do better on :(

Better night tonight...logged back into get minted and managed to take my £50 bonus and turn it into £70.50 with the other £300 of my W/R - was £94 at one point..which would have almost wiped out my inter loss.

Still 5 casnios and only one big loss - £200 profit in all with returns above the bonus at two- 50% of the bonus at two and one major wipeout.

Course it was more on Tuesday - before my inter hell. Bah!

I've done Virgin and Getminted, which are the "clones"?

Ok, you lot have finally convinced me to give this a go (seems like easy money, right?).

So, starting at Coral, firstly couldn't sign up (had an account at eurobet many moons ago), but used the other halfs name :-)

So, deposited my £50, and have so far staked £125 for a balance of £65. Would have staked a lot more but the sight keeps on grinding to a halt, allowing 1 hand every five minutes or so.

Question is, there is no reference to my bonus anywhere. I understand that I have to stake £800 before I can get it, but on the bonus page under cashier, there is a column about pending bonus', and what you have to play to unlock/cashout them. My page and column is blank. Basically, have I royally screwed it up already?

On the casino table itself, there is a tab at the top in the centre of the screen. Click it and it will drop down, it should show the pending bonus. It won't tell you how much you've wagered though, you need to keep count yourself, or ask their customer services.

Getminted clones, you used to be able to play on getmindedcasino, betandwin and a few others, all of which were really the same casino (like you used to be able to play on victorchandler.com, vc.com etc). They may have amalgamated them now though, I'll check my spreadsheet for the others.

BlueSq uses the same software too. It's a huge £250 bonus. If you can afford the £500 deposit, do it NOW, they're closing down for "refurbishment" in 3 days which, if it's anything like the Hard Rock refurbishment, means completely destroying their bonus offer.

You saying you lost ALL £200 (£100 deposit + £100 bonus)?? Do you even want to know how remote a possibility that is?

As easy as any other casino. And by that I mean quite hard. The type of blackjack is 0.4667% in favour of the house, and over £6000 of wagering you should walk away with £70. The autoplay is set to the optimum strategy.

You mean probability wise? I think roughly 55% chance of making a profit, 45% chance of losing money. This is based on Wizard of Odds Risk of Ruin tables, then adding a bit considering you could go below £100 then climb back up again.

Those numbers seem quite large. I'm still trying to write a program that calculates Probability of Profit, or POP . It's slightly different to Risk of Ruin.

Yup.. tell me about it - was working it out in my anxious sleep last night

Having done a few flash-based casinos so far it looks like all the rest require a download (esp. if I want autoplay). Thing is I'm on a mac. Any mac users found a way around this? Does it work with virtual PC - worth my while trying to locate a copy?
