"I return from my special mission at McLaren HQ with news on the 'fluminescent' paint daubed along the side of the car. First of all, the team say there is 'no cause for concern'. They have been using the paint, known as flow-viz, for periods during both days of testing but say it is completely normal and does not flag up underlying aerodynamic problems. To be fair they used it loads last year even when everything was working well. Judging by the times the mclaren is looking strong. I think the sauber might be running light to try and get sponsorship.

Talking of horses, Alonso seems to be caining all before him with a 1.11.47 this morning. If they are running the red cars light they've been doing it for 3 days now. Button is over 2 seconds away from that time. Mickey shoes almost a second back.

A remarkably simple looking rear diffuser compared to the pics of the McLaren rear on the previous page. Looks awesome though.

The Virgin livery does look really good.

It's all getting interesting with the new teams. Stefan GP have shipped their cars Bahrain even though they don't have an entry. The latest rumour is that they've bought the rights to the Dallara chassis, which which would stop Campos using it so effectively killing them. It all seems a bit underhand the way they're going about it, also Stefan is close to Bernie and to add some more fuel to the fire they've hired Dave Ryan to go along with Mike Coughlan. Could be quite nice as a Ferrari fan though, a new pantomime villain to take over for a while.
