I think Vettel's performance shows that Bridgestone bought the wrong tire compounds here - if he's on soft's as I think he is, then isn't it ludicrous that you can do a race distance on what's meant to be the compound that wears out the quickest?

Was I wrong about Alonso making a mistake near the end of the race? Ok, so it was just cutting a chicane, but that mistake could have been worse in a different part of the track.

I don't think so. You miss out half the pit lane at 50mph. If you could do that, everyone would do that.
