i've just bought an Action Replay to use with my PAL machine, this one ->

http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-1v-49-...lay-70-1b2.html

it works great with all my JAP games (i can now play Metal Slug - yeehaa!) but Sega Rally is very sluggish and slow, something like 15-20 fps. what is this all about? anyone else have this problem? none of my other JAP games seems to have this problem and my PAL copy runs perfect.

So it's a standard 50hz PAL Saturn, or does it have a 60hz switch?

So your Japanese games are running at 50hz (with borders, yes?), which is why your JP Sega Rally seems slow (the PAL version is optimised). Maybe you're not noticing the speed difference with your 2d games.

Action Replay only allows imports to play, it won't 'enable' 60hz/fullscreen. Need a switch for that.

I've still got my AR 4 in 1 but unfortunatly it's one of the first models, so it only ran XMEN VS SF and Astra Superstars, obviously all the 1 MB games too. But other games like Marvel VS SF, SF Zero 3, and Vampire Saviour came up with the 4MB cart Jap warning making it useless unless I do the sneaky cart swap as the game starts loading up just before that warning comes up - AR 4 in 1 to Official 4 MB Cart job!

But still an excellent converter, and don't forget you have to pull it out if you are running Panzar Dragoon!
