I'm waiting too, but I can't complain seeing as until two days ago whoever it is didn't have the right address for me, so it's a good job they didn't send it earlier!

Anyway...

Someone's is going in the post today as long as I remember to go to the post box. LOL.

It's all I could find! Someone nabbed off with the pen for writing on CDs or something.

Also: I got the CD murdock, quite a nice mellow affair. Couldn't remember any of the tracks to save my life, though.

What, even the last one? The last one is pretty dark.

Ooh, I have a mystery CD - blank CD, blank case, no clues whatsoever :) Shall listen to it in the car today, comments probably after the weekend.

In other news, I forgot to post mine yesterday ;) It's in my handbag and I WILL do it today, I promise. Nimmel, please don't put me on the late senders list...!

Daedalus, did you get the package? I sent it Tuesday, should be there by now.

Hiya, yes I have, thanks! Sorry, I should have told you earlier. Appreciate you adding last month's mix too. I won't get a chance to listen to it till Monday-ish I'm afraid, but I'll post my opinions once I do.

S8N sent me a packet of instant cake mix. And a CD called "Food Mix", which I am listening too now. So far it's very cool, funky hip hop and jazzy stuff with food themes.

I will be putting together my CD over the weekend to send on Monday - sorry for the delay, I've been on my hols.

Thanks for the CD Holly.

Loving it so far, very haunting. :(

I'll give some better feedback once I've listened to it a couple of times.

Edit: The cover is ace as well.

Glad you like it ;) Will pop up a tracklisting once you've had a chance for some proper feedback.

The cover, for those that are interested, is here - it's actually our local chippie...

Did you see it coming though? Erm, you chose the right Girls Aloud aswell - Its a Tweedy solo track. Back when recording WWTNS each of them went off and wrote a track by themselves. Sarahs showed up on WWTNS called Real Life, Nicolas is Its Magic from Chemistry, Kimberleys was a crap B-side ballad, dunno about Nadines. This is properly fantastic and should have easily made it onto either album, although the failure of this sort of 80's electropop sound probably gave them cold feet to follow it further.

I consider myself a bit of a Girls Aloud aficionado but I've never heard that story. I feel enlightened.

You couldn't upload it somewhere could you? Angrogynous Girls is another great track that should've made it on to one of the albums, but I imagine was left off because of the long word. Can't see any other reason for it as there's far more risque stuff that they've done.

Cibo Matto - Birthday Cake

I knew this but I couldn't remember the group. She sounds a bit insane :)

DJ Format - Ill Culinary Behaviour

Edan - Beautiful Food

Liked these two a lot. Is the Edan track off Beauty & the Beat. If so that's another solid reason why I should get it.

Booker T & The MGs - Green Onions

One of those bits of music I know and like but have never really had an artist/track name for.

Black Eyed Peas - Joints & Jam

A Black Eyed Peas track I don't hate! :D

Ozomatli - Superbowl Sundae

Abdominal & Fase - Fast Food (DJ Format remix)

A Tribe Called Quest - Jam

Mr Scruff - Jazz Potato

Just Brothers - Sliced Tomato

All good through to here

The Presidents Of the USA - Candy Cigarette

Eels - Hospital Food

Electric Eel Shock - Lemon Lees

Not really my kind of thing but fitting in well with the theme

Pop Will Eat Itself - Def Con One

A classic from my youth :)

Tool - Die Eier Von Satan

Danko Jones - Sugar Chocolate

Again not really my thing but the last track is a nice noisy one to end on.

So cheers, I enjoyed listening to the CD and I'll be holding on to most of the tracks for the iPod.

Good luck with your cake :)

mrs lfj looked at the extra ingredients you need to put in with it and said "why not just use those with some butter and make your own cake?" but I will definitely be trying the mix.

A Black Eyed Peas track I don't hate! :)

The Edan track is off his Sprain the tapedeck ep from a few years ago. Beauty & the Beat is better but lacks the required reading from a cookery book related tracks.

The Black Eyed Peas track is from their pre Fergie + Elephunk days when they were a decent hip hop outfit.

I like the look of Kelthink's CD a lot. Can I get a copy of that somehow? I could send you a CD with a stamped addressed envelope if you like.

I'll send you one as soon as I can...just got to get some CDs. And packaging. And stamps. Etc.

I'll sort something out for you. Expect a PM. Also, I agree - I think Angrogynous Girls is one of their best tracks and its a shame it didn't make it onto an album.

Robbo: Got your CD yesterday but havn't had a chance to listen to it yet. Ill get round to it sometime this week.
