Did you not know you're on a forum full of gaming demi gods ?

Check the rest of the thread there's a load of handy hints, specifically look for the homing butt stomp (spin in the air and hit Z (or C, I forget which) when vaguely over an enemy).

For the boss you're talking about, attack it's tail as has been mentioned.

Good Luck.

The pricks in this thread, that's what happened.

I'll just go away and enjoy it and never enter this thread again, rather than selling the game and missing out.

So it's gone from brilliant to shit and now back to keeping it and enjoying it; all in the space of a few hours

Schizo

The Homing Butt-Stomp is real all right, but IMO it's not that much use. If you're jumping high enough for it to work, then you're usually high enough to just guide your jump onto the enemy/object anyway.

To be honest I didnt even realise it until I read it one here and that was after finishing the game so its not really an important move.

So I've been playing the last few days, not got very far (been taking my time with it)

OK so it's beautiful, it plays very well, it's brimming with ideas, but..... ....

I'm not feeling the magic, I've got the suspicion that, at the end of the game I won't remember as single thing, there nothing for me to rave about in the pub. I really don't think I'll be looking back at the game fondly for years to come; like say Z:ooT or Resi 4

I'm enjoying the game, it's clearly in another class, but I was expecting more wow, expecting to fall in love with the game. Perhaps it's another case of high expectations leading to mild disappointment, either that or I'm dead inside.

it's so full of amazingness - it's hard to take it all in. I thought I'd seen everything at 70 odd stars and then did a star on Melty Molten galaxy... It's crazy to think that huge amounts of players will never see the kind of stuff they've put in to this.

it doesn't really get remotely hard till about 50 stars or so I thought...

but that was always the intention. Shigsy said they wanted to make a game that anyone could finish - but hard enough to keep folks like us happy as well.

I'm finding it really tough at 70 odd stars.
