Reading your posts make it sound as if there's nothing wrong with the game at all. It's almost like, you've convinced yourself to like it (no way! you like a Wii game!! <_<) For me, the HUGEST fan of Super Metroid and Metroid Prime, this is a bit disappointing in places. The music, the atmosphere, it just isn't as good. I've explained the things I don't like, but they're not going to stop me playing through it.

It's a good game yes, but no where near the classic status of the earlier games.

I'd love to play Prime with these controls, though I have to say, my aiming arm does ache after playing for a while...

I've already said it's not as good as Prime but, to me, it's better than Echoes. If I'm going to criticise it - there doesn't seem to be as many involved morph ball puzzles and the weapons lack punch. The generator level was pretty forgettable and all the bosses have a mega-stomp move.

Yes - I'd love to try prime again with these controls... and beam stacking. Which would make the last boss a complete doddle. Alternatively, with no hyper mode - they could map weapon select to the + button - but it wouldn't be as fluid as it was in Prime.

The disintegrating dead bodies weren't a 'dead' give-away? As was the fact that if you scanned them they mentioned being totally drained of life-energy? Are you blind perchance? :wacko:<_<

There's another teeny weeny giveaway earlier than that:

when you are about to enter the door of that building you might just notice that above the door there is...a picture of a metroid. Kind of gave it away to me, did that.

I still liked the atmosphere of that section, but surprise? Uhhm, no.

I got to a room on the first planet, with fast little droids spinning around me, and I couldn't for the life of me find a way out.

Life's too short for shitty gamedesign like that, so it's back to the shop with this one.

The fact that I can't even begin to recall what you mean indicates how much of a challenge that bit must've been!! :)

Maybe it's time to stop altogether! Civilsation only, perhaps?!

It saddens me how utterly shit my Wii looks on my telly. So much so that although i'd quite like corruption it's just not on the top of my games to get because it simply looks terrible unless I get my old CRT telly out of the loft.

I know this makes me a horrible graphics whore but reasing how pretty it looks on some peoples machines, I know it would just annoy me. ^_^

[Edit: ooh look after 2 yars i've finally managed to make 100 posts - must try harder]

This makes me laugh - its the exploring, puzzling out of routes and er... using my brain that I enjoy the most to be honest.

You got an RGB or component lead? Because with the standard lead I couldn't even play Metroid on my telly, you couldn't tell what colour the doors were on the map! The game does look pretty sweet.

.::: Your not the only one in need of Vouchers I'm afraid, I try to divide them as equally as possible but I have too many people playing the game. :) Also considering I've completed it, it might take some time before I get new ones...
