1.11 Test Realm Patch Notes

Cool, an item you can only get through tireless PvE grinding and exceptional luck which is great for PvP, that's totally on par with a +300 healing staff. Idiot.

Good job the rest of guys, Glad to see a decent staff go to people that iconically carry staves. One's been missing for a huge time, but i'll bet to fuck it's insanely difficult to get hold of. I'm thinking rep grind plus token dropathon... Ah well....

Hey! Here's hoping Ashbringer's finally in eh? ;)

I never said it was you mong.

You said that now at least every class has a viable Legendary to use, which is untrue. They all have a weapon to use. I bet Paladins would prefer to have a Legendary healing staff than have to drag Thunderfury around and have everyone in IF pointing and laughing.

Shaman have it far, far better than any caster as Legendary weapons go, because of one weapon that you can only get raiding and is useless for raiding? *giggle*

I hope they make a Legendary healing dagger. When Paladins complain I can point at Ashbringer.

There are model shots of a corrupted version of Ashbringer. Things are definitely moving forward, if nothing else.

Saw some pics from the test realm of some elf talking about the Staff of the Guardian. Kel'Thuzad has the head, his minions have 20 of the missing splinters and supposedly the other half of them are dotted all over the world. The final piece, the base, was last known to be with Braan/Branz/Whoever Bronzebeard, who himself was last known to be going to Ahn'Qiraj so it's now probably in the stomach of a certain Old God or something.

So yes, by the time anyone gets it, the portal to Karazhan aspect may actually be useful.

It's going to be bloody hard to get, but incredibly worthwhile.

Mage Version

Atiash, Staff of the Guardian

Two Hand Staff

130-244 Damage

(64.4 damage per second)

+31 Stamina

+32 Intellect

+24 Spirit

Durability 145 / 145

Requires Level 60

Equip: Improves your chance to hit with spells by 2%.

Equip: Increases damage and healing done by magical spells and effects by up to 150

Equip: Gives party members within 30 yards a chance to get a critical strike with spells by 2%.

Use: Creates a portal. Teleporting group members that use it to Karazhan.

Rogues have a viable legendary as well do we? Pfff. Equally, I don't whine about it IN EVERY POST either. It would be cool to have a Legendary proper slow, MH DPS weapon though. Not what is, basically now, a tanking sword.

And, I'll say again, not every raiding guild REQUIRES shaman to have Mana Tide. Ours certanily doesn't.

Nice to see the multi-shot/cleave changes, of course, too. And, unlike Kharen, I'm pleased about the Night Dragon shared cool down thing. Although I never bothered to farm them, now I don't have to feel guilty about it :lol:

I'm baffled as to why anyone would be pleased at something that will harm fellow players' (and thus the raid's) survivability. Popping a tuber and healthstone after a sudden and unexpected hit could mean all the difference between dying or a healer having enough time to replenish you completely and thus save your worthless, leather-covered ass.

All our other rogues are lazy bastards.

Apart from kano for bandaging skills.

All the others conform to my own hunter/rogue selfish mentallity ;)

Am I? At the moment I'm stuck at a point where I need about 20-40 people to help me kill a certain gnome, and about 5 or so people to help me farm stuff from dragonkin, and demons in Blasted Lands. So no, I'm not "doing" the AQ Sceptre quest really. I've done all I can do.

Lazy how? And I'm not remotely selfish on gear either. You're thinking of obfus 'why cant I use my MC points in BWL even though I never take anything ever' cate.

I dont bandage because Kano is so keen on it I don't have to. On Razorgore, one rogue is plenty, and if Kano wants to treat it as a competition, well... he wins!

I think it'll balance out to be about the same over the full duration, but yeah.

Assuming you can really get the full 10 casts out of it in 20 seconds (which seems very unlikely?), plus it's still a fairly big nerf to the burst damage, which is what matters in PvP.

Even with SnD up, I can barely use all my ZHM during the duration, including instant Backstabs... (though mine has 20 charges). Don't most spells have > 2 sec cast time? And you'll be moving around and stuff?

In PvE though, yes, it's probably fairly similar.

That's exactly what they want. Double trinketing is now impossible, AP and PI now cannot be used together, AP is also getting a slight nerf in the next patch.

I very rarely get to use all the charges in PvP as it is. That's why it's the perfect nerf - it remains just as effective for PvE and therefore mages can be accused of whining again, this time under the category "you just want to one-shot everyone".

Weavil is a bastard - all i goto say! We went with 5 people ended up being a 20 man raid in the end. You need to bring him outside put him around the back fo the house and out of site of healers - then nuke the fucker!

Yeah, I already posted all the tactics on how to kill him on our forum, but not many people are interested as they dont get anything for killing him, so I've not been able to get it done.
