They usually announce 20 tracks first then the final 10 nearer release, so I'd be surprised if this was the final track listing.

Looks fun. And I'm glad they're speeding up the releases a bit. There are a lot of female vocals on that as it stands, though.

Get UltraStar for the PC and have as many decent songs as you like B)

Yeah, it takes ages to get the right mp3 for the right txt song etc tho. They need some better way of distributing the songs (although obviously they cant cos it's illegal).

That's not such a hard problem.

They should use the CCDB tags to match the specific edition to the specific "song setting" file. Then there would be no confusion.

:blink: Im kind of nervous about singstar now, singstar rocks just didn't work on my PS2, kept skipping and freezing all the time (tried 3 copies) all the other singstars work fine as do all the other games i have that stream from the disc.

i'll give this one a go but im not optimistic.

(which is a shame as it sounds pretty good)

The Wikipedia entry for Singstar Rocks mentions this as a very common fault. Maybe it wasn't properly tested.

hmm i dunno.. i downloaded about 90 of the song txt files, and i only had problems with 3 of the mp3s being wrong. I will get round to packing all the txt files up sometime and uploading them..

Yeah distributing the songs are obviously illegal, but in all honest i had a good 40-50 tracks available to me from my own cd collection and also i managed to get the songs from the singstar ps2 games so well.. spose it counts :unsure:
