With the Stratos I just went to Blitz under upgrades for Rim Style (I think most if not all rims are yellow for the Stratos)

And yes I'll sell them on but the Stratos is 73,000CR to buy so I'll be asking for 100,000CR avec design (or if you have a Stratos gift it me and I'll copy over the design and sell it back to you for 25,000CR) Fair?

Is there no way to clear one of the official paint jobs already applied to the sponsored cars? I just want to start a design from a blank canvas so to speak, I tried just overlaying the car with giant white squares to cover everything up but there are still quite a few gaps and I don't seem to be able to get rid of the black bonnet on this car I'm trying to customise. What am I doing wrong?

Anyone have a clue about this then?

A rant on the tournaments setup:

The whole tournament thing just sucks, quite frankly.

It's set up so that the only chance you've got to qualify is:

1) spend litterally hours and hours trying different cars, setups, tuning

2) Spend hours on the internet desperately trying to get the optimum car and setup out of someone.

3) Be part of a big serious clan who do all of the above for you.

I, like most people who will play Forza don't have the time to spend on this game to enable to get into a position to compete, let alone actually try and then actually qualify.

I had a few laps in the stock class D cars and got into the 1:04s, then tried my pimped corrado, 1:04s. So I registered on the Forza forums to see what they were using, pimped an elan and did a few laps, still 1:04s.

Surely these kind of tournaments should be everyone. Why can't they make things more transparent so that everyone can see exactely which car is being used, what upgrades it has and what assists etc.

Surely the best drivers would still be the best drivers regardless?

I've been wanting to do something like that for ages but the racing has been too addictive so I haven't got around to it yet. I'll see what I can come up with...

If I made a pink gaymobil, with GAY written in big letters on it, would I get banned or removed do you think?

I guess it depends who you race online with, if it's just forum people I doubt you'll get any bad feedback. I assume even if someone did complain about it Microsoft would only ask you to remove it at first anyway.

orza 2 just looks dull from what I've seen. The first Forza actually appeared to be really good in videos, yet I hated the floaty don't-need-the-proper-line handling when I played it.

If you could be any more wrong, I'd be absolutely, and utterly amazed...

Bought the Collector's Edition on Friday and had some quick sessions on Friday night and Saturday morning, then again a major one (over 8 hours) on Sunday. My verdict up to this moment is: shit, this game is good!

I always like racing games though I am not a big fan of cars in real life, and certainly do not have any major technical knowledge on tweaking. Yet this is one of the aspects that hooked me into the game. Immediately the minute I was able to tune, I started doing it, not knowing what I was doing exactly. But then I took the car out to the road with some of the changes. Woah! What a difference. The car behaved differently even with a small change in the tires pressure and the game shows it to you. In a clear, easy to understand manner. I created an S monster out of a Renault Clio and I watched it hopelessly trying to control it's unbelievable horse power. The thing is that performing a slide in a major turn in PGR3 is not a big deal. But accomplishing it in Forza2, you really feel that you are one heck of a driver (though I am not obviously :lol:).

The feel of every car is excellent, even if the driving model needs some small fixes and the online aspect seems well thought out. It is a little sad though that you have the ability to tweak the cars and enter races with a B class when the competition stays true to its D roots. It breaks some races and I hope they fix it.

Now give us the ability to nickname our cars and have it shown online and I will be happy! My "Blue Pancake" can take you all!
