Finally got the game today (it went on a round the world trip I think before arriving through my letterbox), this is the game I got the DS for and I collected a million games in the meantime!

I was a GC version veteran so just zoomed through all Nook's little jobs, man my town is is more complex to navigate around than my GC one was. Gonna go about adding people to my friends list will PM anyone I add, my code will be in my sig any minute now.
