I'm on Carrington Road, fairly close to the junction where the Park pub is. Small world.

There's a few porn shops actually - two near the centre, but the other one I can think of is on the main road, practically opposite the Peel Centre.

Christ, this has gone OT. :lol:

Well, according to this it seems like they might actually be doing this one right. The graphics are lovely (but they were on Rainbow Islands DS, too), and bottom screen is just being used as a map, except during bosses where touch-screen stuff'd be welcome and they've explicitly stated that they aren't messing with the game. If only they'd shown the same respect for BB and RI.

Best news all week! Out of the 3 franchises I am most happy NZS is the one to get a decent update - it looks brilliant, I am worried by this sentence however "New Zealand Story Revolution will bring many more additions and innovations" - by innovations, I hope they do not mean forcing me to control tiki the kiwi with the stylus!!!!

The only thing that stops me being more annoyed about RI getting ruined, is being able to play the PC Engine CD ROM version on my GP2X along with Parasol Stars. :unsure:

Ah, Parasol Stars.... would love for that to come out on DS.... and Rodland too while we're at it :lol:

But back on topic, can anyone post pix/details in this thread as I can't access that link above from work and really want to see how this is looking..... cheers!

I think you'll have to wait a little longer for screens. I'm covering it in next month's Retro Gamer though. It's so much better than the last two games that it's not funny. Oh and the new mechanics are pretty good. And no I'm not saying what they are ^_^

There is no way on Earth that the graphics in those screens are as nice as the originals. They are nice, but they lack the simple grace of the originals. Pretty much the same then as the other 'updates' they ballsed-up. Still, I'm hoping they haven't bodged-up the gameplay in similar fashion.

Seems that they *are* messing with things via some woefully conceived spot-the-difference-while-being-pelted-with-bullets feature. Glad to see that Rising Star hasn't abandoned it's roots of breaking stuff which was designed by better people.

Pity, really, as the other additions they've made to the game mentioned in the article sound pretty good.

LOL. They do seem to be adding content just for the sake of it.

Rising Star assures us that they're still balancing the game and it'll all be fixed in time for release.

All they needed to do was release the original NZS, with a save-game feature. Throw-in some mini-games too. At the very least, they should be forced to include the original. It won't happen. All is lost.
