Great little game. Looks a bit cluttered on the little screen sometimes.

I've just had an email confirmation from Play.com (£17.99) saying mine's shipped. I'm looking forward to receiving it, I played the Amiga version to death way back when, and the reviews for this remake have been very favourable.

Although I have so many DS games on the go right now, I'm sure I'll find some time for this quality little platformer.

Can you really not save your scores though? What about level selection?

Wouldn't buy this fullprice. It's not bad, but it's not that great either. Rather play the original version on Mame or something.

It doesn't save the score but it saves the last level completed. They are then selectable upon start-up.

The touch screen additions are a little forced - turning handles, catching and throwing Kiwis, spot the difference etc... but that doesn't harm the overall appeal of this new version.

That doesn't sound too bad then. I just hope the music is suitably insane.

The box artwork punches me in the eyes!!

It's almost, but not quite as bad as that DS Bubble Bobble boxart, which removed my eyes with a rusty screwdriver, then proceeded to fistfuck the weeping, gory sockets.
