That fucking kidnapping mission pissed me off so much.

No matter what i did she always made me ram into the side of the road causing the car the flip over. Even when i did it the car still flipped and i was flown from the car into a chain reaction of smashing into other vehicles, but luckly a police car rammed into the back of the flipped wreck and put it the right way up, so i ran back to it before she escaped. When Niko finally knocked the bitch out i was so happy.

I dunno, i never saw any mention of a serial killer in game, just on here. I met eddie on the street and he dumped something in the river, then i think I heard a news story on the radio about a headless body being found (a mission started before the story finished so i didn't hear all of it). Then the next time i saw him he tried to kill me.

A mate introduced me to the joys of shooting up petrol tanks and it made Three Leaf Clover a piece of piss, I did it first time - walked out of the bank and gave the middle cop car two shotgun blasts just in front of the rear wheel and ran away, counted to five...boom. Rinse and repeat.

So fucking handy.

I finally completed it today. Gave it a right hammering after getting it a week later.

Just got the 200 Flying Rats as well. From what I can tell all I get is another spawn location for the Annihilator. No rockets, nothing. Just the standard Heli.

Why is the machine gun so fucking shit too. Such a waste

This useful to know because I assumed from the seeming lack of visible petrol caps (a la San Andreas) it was another lost feature. I'll try this out later for sure.

I've achieved it a few times by aiming just above and behind the rear tyre with a few bursts of machine gun fire.

Has anyone ever discussed whether they'd make a GTA game that featured a woman as the main character? Would that somehow make the violence worse? (Now someone points out a PSP title or something that I am ignorant of, don't they?). Wouldn't change the way I played the game, but I have this feeling that for some reason any media abhorrence (or even uproar) would be magnified.

Also, if GTA IV had been set in my home country (say it was London instead of New York), I'd find it impossible to be the callous, pedestrian-murdering arsewipe that I am in this game currently. How odd does that make me? Happy to kill virtual Americans, but would be kinder to the Brits. (I had no such problem with GTA London of yesteryear though. Odd.)

...unless it had gangs of delinquent youths in it. I'd ignore the main story to slaughter them. With wild abandon.

I was just thinking about this today! I was daydreaming about what the next GTA game could be, and somehow started thinking about a plotline involving Tommy Vercetti's daughter coming to modern-day Vice City to find him (go on, tell me the idea sucks).

But it made me think about whether a female main character could work. I suppose in real life, you don't get many women doing serious violent crime -- there are hardly any female serial killers, and organised crime is so patriarchal that women wouldn't be allowed too much power. Women are the trophy wives or mistresses. Saints Row had female gang members, and they seemed horribly out of place.

But perhaps if she was some kind of bounty hunter, raised by criminals since childhood, proving herself as a good fighter... maybe.

The main problem with having a female lead character would be the hand to hand combat. There would be no problem having her handle herself with weapons, but when it comes to punching big gangsters in the face she'd either have to be pretty butch herself or some kind of martial arts expert, neither of which would be any fun (at least not in the GTA world).

They had to use full-on incendiary rounds (ie rounds with loads of burny stuff, specifically intended to set the target on fire). Those are heck of illegal.

For my first foray online, my default character was a woman. The game also plonked me on an easy rider in a bike race where everyone else had 900cc racing bikes. The whole episode was a huge embarrassment.

Strangely enough I didn't actually try this until my fiancée told me to. I was a bit disappointed that your partner will follow you inside, but it doesn't trigger a 'date', you just wander around.

She then made me come back alone, have two private dances, then go and find a prostitute. And avail of all three levels of service, so she could see the animations.
