The game also plonked me on an easy rider in a bike race where everyone else had 900cc racing bikes. The whole episode was a huge embarrassment.

You know you can choose your vehicle within the specified class, don't you?

Still, I've won several bike races on an Easy Rider while many other racers were on racing bikes. While I took it steady around the corners and let it rip on the straights, most of the speed-freaks just drove off the road at every corner. :D

I worked it out after a couple of goes!

Edit: in other news, I've got a copy of the complete soundtrack now, have been listening mainly to Liberty Rock, which Iggy Pop talks over. A lot of the stuff he says is great, but you can't really make it out in the game. Well worth a listen to. It's quite dangerous driving along in real life listening to the GTA soundtrack.

Strangely enough I didn't actually try this until my fiancée told me to. I was a bit disappointed that your partner will follow you inside, but it doesn't trigger a 'date', you just wander around.

She then made me come back alone, have two private dances, then go and find a prostitute. And avail of all three levels of service, so she could see the animations.

I do not understand women.

I think she likes you, man. You should go for it.

A female main character would be pretty cool, I reckon. You'd scratch them with your upgradable fingernails to wear them down, before pulling their hair to take their health. When they die you'd collect their shoes from their corpse to add to your wardrobe and you'd also earn 50 shopping credits.

IIRC, as it's a while since I've seen that episode, even tracers (which have a bit of white phosphorus to make them visible in flight) didn't work. They had to use full-on incendiary rounds (ie rounds with loads of burny stuff, specifically intended to set the target on fire). Those are heck of illegal.

I think that was it, anyway. I may be inadvertently making this up.

They used a minigun to fire 5000 rounds of incendiary ammo at. Did the trick.

What are you supposed to do with the Bobcat you pick up from the airport for Stevie? I've gone to pick it up twice and the game doesn't tell me to take it back to the garage or do anything with it.

No message at all? Are you sure you've got the right car?

I assume so. It said to pick up the Bobcat on the top level of the airport carpark and there was only one on there. Nowhere marked on the map either.

Is this the first Stevie mission you've tried? I can't remember my first one, but you always get a white text message at the bottom of the screen telling you that you've found the car that Stevie is looking for. If you don't get that, (and assuming it's not a bug), then you've not found the right vehicle yet.

Where to take Stevie's cars? Once you start Stevie's text missions a garage icon appears on the map (without any fanfare), near to the safe house in Bohan. I think you take them all there. Well I've taken about five there myself for him so far. Not done one from the airport though, so don't know if that one is different.

Ah, that Bohan location looks like the best bet, then, but I didn't notice anything on the map when I looked. It's the first text I've received from Stevie, but I've always clearly seen the messages after picking up the cars from Brucie's emails.

Right, they must be given out in a random order then. Yeah, you definitely take it to the bohan garage. It's a bit odd as every other fetch mission gives you a route to follow, but these don't even mention the new garage.

Bloody idiocy in the game... I was systematically working my way through the stunt jumps and completed what I thought was the last one. 2 more to go, it said. I knew this to be wrong but had little choice in the matter other than to go through every single one all over again. So far all the ones I have re-done have said that I've already completed it. Yes, I know that thank you.

Little Jacob phoned me to go and play darts, I was busy so I said no. Later I noticed that his initials appeared on the map so I drove to him as I thought a new mission had opened up. It hadn't, he was just waiting for me to pick him up to go and play darts. I didn't bother taking him, I just continued in my quest to do the stunt jumps with him in the car. He wasn't impressed.

My stats say I have been on 13 dates, of which 8 were "bad". This is despite all dates ending with a thumbs-up rating.

Girls are like that though. Nice to your face but then they talk about you to their girlfriends over brunch.

Two quick questions!

1) When the beeping starts while you're flying a chopper, is that because it's taken damage, or something to do with fuel?

2) Is there anyway of finding out which bridges you've yet to fly under without flying under a new one?

Cheers!

Ok, just a quick question about finding all the hidden packages/pigeons.

The reward for finding them all is supposed to be the

Attack chopper, the Annihilator

right?

Well, I'm just wondering, what's the point? Because as of completing the game, I've found these things everywhere! There seems to be one on practically every police station.

1) It's the equivalent of smoke pouring out of your car's engine.

2) Not that I've seen.

I found a stunt jump near the safe house in Aldernay (near where the babysitting mission starts), which is a jump over the river. Grabbed a car and tried it, and failed (landed in the water), so grabbed a motorbike and tried it with that, and failed again.

Next time I found a fast looking sporty car I came back and tried it with this one, going as fast as I could. Made it to the other side of the river and crash landed. Failed again. One more try (the car was saved outside the safehouse), really going as fast as I could in the fastest car I'd found. Failed again. I presume I need an even faster car!

Are they all this hard? I was kinda expecting that just finding them was going to be the hard bit.

Not sure if it'll work, but try taking one of the 4x4 Landrover-alikes - they fucking FLY off the ramps

you gotta get across the water and land properly to do it. about 4 are like that. the rest are ok. use a fucking quick car Turismo or up, or a super bike. i think i did it on a bike, make sure you land on 2 wheels.

You don't have any control in the air though, do you? I presumed not - I was just happily watching a cut scene of my car tumbling through the air. Maybe that's what I was doing wrong?
