About 100% completion - I'm at 98+% and trying to get the last 2%. On various checklists it says "Beat a friend or random computer opponent at a game of Pool/Darts/FULL Bowling". Does that mean a friend like Brucie/LJ/Roman, and does it have to be with the same friend for each?

That and taking those 3 people to all the activities seem to be the only ones I can't have done. I want 100% damnit! :D

I'm doing the last bit I think. What does it mean when your gun won't shoot? Is my controller broken?

There's a glitch on the edges of some objects I think, that means you can't fire. It's always happening.

I've reached Snow Storm and Deconstruction For Beginners, about 20% in. I can't be bothered to re-attempt them again after failing, so is it okay if I cheat now?

:wub: After the unbelievable amount of hype you spewed before launch, that statement is nothing short of a disgrace to your entire being. :ph34r:

Take your time and attack it properly when your University course ends. :o

Funny thing is, it almost deserves the level of hype you spewed about it so enjoy! ;)

make sure you have done every random friend. the people you meet, like the serial killer TWICE, and the girl who want you to beat up her husband TWICE. there are more after the achievement...

I was doing one of the early missions, where I had to bother the laundrette owner for some money. He got away the first time so the second time I pegged it after him immediately after the cut-scene finished, I ran into the back of him (note: both of us on foot) and he fell over and died. :o

I like how if you die it restarts you outside a hospital with all your guns and stuff. It means everytime I plan on switching the game off and going down in a blaze of glory, it restarts again and I always wanna have 'one more go' at killing a bunch of people, and it's an endless cycle. It won't let me turn it off.

If you keep doing that you'll be flat-broke in no time!

I tried Snow Storm about 2 more times and then put in about 7 cheat telephone numbers. And I don't like them: why isn't there a cheat which just turns your wanted rating off? That's a crucial one if you just wanna go around creating mayhem with no cops bothering you. I hate having to fiddle with the phone and call the cops every 3 seconds to turn your wanted rating down. And unlimited ammo? Again, I can't be bothered calling the number every time my 8 rockets run out. And where oh where oh where is the invincibility cheat? Jesus.

This game keeps on finding new ways to disappoint me.

Thanks for the help earlier guys, you're all "genetically different".

I missed Brucie's Heli Ride activity on the phone as I thought "Chopper" was the same thing.

I stole a fire engine and blew water at the people whilst they all screamed "What the hell's going on?!" and stuff. They all fell over and ran away so, so realistically. It was brilliant.

And I was scared throughout that Rockstar would had designed the fire engine water pipes such that they only had a limited supply of water, that you could only spray it for so long before it all ran out.

For once, Rockstar got it right, and the voices of their better angels weren't shouted down by their obsessive need for realism.

You'd have thought after all the hype you gave it before release they would have made it easier for you to play wouldn't you? :)

Had a really cool moment the other night playing this.

Was crossing the toll bridge up towards Bohan and as I sometimes do, was driving properly at reasonable speeds with attention to other traffic, not driving into cop cars, etc etc. So I came up to the toll and a police car was stopped in front of me there, I waited a few seconds and he still wasn't moving forward, so I thought to myself "oh I'll just beep the horn as that's what I'd do in real life! :lol: " and as soon as I done it, the car started moving the the police man driving raised his hand in an apologetic manner just like you would do when driving a car yourself.

It was genius, and just shows the effort put into the game when you see wee things like this, especially after putting 40 hours into the game and you see this one 5 second thing happen, just puts a smile on your face. :)
