Sounds a bit shitty. Is it definitely for real money mmcg, not just XP or in-game money?

Not defending them at all, but it could be like pay to unlock straight away, or unlock it for free by getting experience in the game. Like if you could pay to unlock the M14 in CoD4 instead of just getting to a certain rank.

There are 3 different kinds of unlocks:

"Buy this weapon on Xbox LIVE Marketplace."

"In Gold Edition or available for purchase on Xbox LIVE Marketplace."

"Ranking up will earn you unlock credits."

Beta finished downloading, so I had a look. Yep that's crap. However, the buyable ones don't seem that amazing so I definitely wouldn't buy them anyway. All the good ones seem to be free or unlockable with XP.
