Finally back from Austria! I do hope the online action is still (somewhat) ongoing?

Tomorrow I'm going to get 3 months worth of Live GOLD, as well as some MS Points (for the downloadable content car pack). Perhaps Forza 2 as well (enough with the 'pushing', Meer :)), though I'm hoping to race some of you in PGR4 this week :)

Should be interesting, weren't you a bit of a whizz at GT prologue on the PS3 Mcspeed?

How do you access the Nurburgring race in the open wheeled car again in this? During the career mode I know i did the ring in that car, and with snow - but it never seems to have popped up again. Custom race only now I assume? Cheers

Yeah, I've played GT5 Prologue a lot, both the events and online. However, I do like PGR4 better in every aspect: the cars, the handling and even the graphics (I rather have slight damage and dust, true signs of endurance racing, than shiny models). GT is more like a virtual showroom, while especially PGR4 is just about racing. It's pretty much the ultimate racing game if you ask me, aside from the slight lack of content (there could've been more actual racing tracks and some less-than-supercars, like in MSR).

And I assume you're talking about the the event on the snowy Nürburgring in the Maserati 250F. It's an invitational event, and I don't think you can just replay it. You can easily simulate it in Time Attack or Custom Race though.

Right, I'm off to the city to get some Live GOLD :wub: I'll add some of you after on today, hopefully we can do some online races tonight!

Fun? FUN? It'll drive you mad trying to get a decent time, then, when you finally get one, four or five people will come along and make your time look absolutely pedestrian.

I'm having a bit of a love/hate relationship with this game, it manages to frustrate me something rotten, I've had to switch it off a couple of times before I threw my pad through the TV.

Also, how do you remove the ghosts from the time trials? It's one of the most annoying things I've ever seen, if I get slightly behind my previous ghost it completely obscures the track!

you turn them off, in the GHOSTS option.

Whos up for some matches later this week? I still need the achievement for getting 8 cars in the air at the same time as well, surely im not the only one? :rolleyes:
