How do rewards in Crucible work? Is it completely random or is there a system active I do not know about? It seems random.

edit: I absolutely love Crucible. I truly hope they keep it transparant and avoid the usual "invisible-sniper enemy-looks-like-your-team-mate shotgun-fella-has-a-ton-of-armor" nonsense.

The only problem that I've had in the Crucible so far is no fucker on my random ass fire team having a mic which is annoying

1) This is ace and looks great on 360

2) When I went into an area where you can't re spawn, the other players near me disappeared. Is this normal or were those players not in my little squad? Not sure if you can only see them if they are in your crew... I have it set to open.

Yeah, it's massively clever how that works. Engage with other people out in the field to populate the world, then by nature, generally through the medium of dance, you all end up following each other to an objective, where it warps everybody out and leaves your fireteam.

Absolutley brilliant game. Me and a friend just spent the evening bashing through this and up to chapter 6 where we got our arses handed to us again and again by endless waves of enemies. I'm loving my female warlock with her biotic style melee. Preorder definitely in!

The beta has really highlighted to me how good the Borderlands games are. I appreciate Destiny is well made and has spectacular production values, it is in no way a bad game based on the beta. It just feels a little soulless to me. None of the guns I have tried appear weighty and the post-apocalyptic setup feels really unoriginal. I am pleased that I did not stump up for a pre-order; maybe I'll pick it up somewhere down the line in a sale but it just doesn't excite me.

Just got the 2 items from the Iron Banner that's possible to get at present due to the level limit (the waist scarf thing and the emblem). Only need to get to rank 1 with iron banner and have 3k glimmer I think it was before you talk to the guy. I had 75/100 rep from the last time the Iron Banner was live, so one win got me to rank 1.

JB Hi-Fi (Australia) have this for pre-order for $79.99, which is $20 cheaper than the pre-order would have cost you last week.

Not sure if you get any pre-order deals etc. but it did mention early access to weapons (or something similar).

I pre-ordered as I expect it'll rise to $109 on the day of release.

Does anyone know if you need to log in when the event starts or can you drop in any time during that four hour period?

I don't fancy getting up at 6am tomorrow if you need to be there at the start.
