Yeah, twelve eisodes per season so three more to go.

So many good things in that episode -

the finger, the scene at the dinner table, the closing scene etc. Dexter seemed to navigate in a detached, almost dreamlike state until he snapped in the kitchen. The sense of menace generated was almost palpable at times and the bleak tableau aound the dinner table at Dexter's house was almost touching.

I really can't wait for the rest of the season.

<_< Wooooo I thought we only had one more.

Still not enough though  I want 24 episodes in a season.

Nah, quality over quantity - imagine how much more filler there'd have to be if they dragged it out for twice the time..

Some people already complain the first half of a Dexter season is too slow and nothing happens... it's all about putting everything in place, so we get eps like this where it all kicks off!

I know, I know. <_< I was just being a deluded fool, dreaming of the same quality but double the quantity.

What a chilling episode. The tension around the table was absolutely brilliant, and the delivery of That line was perfect. It was brilliant to see Dexter become a spectator and be as stunned by all that was happening as the viewer was. He's such a nice serial killer.

For the majority of the episode I was leaning towards

Arthurs's son being the shooter, there were a few shots showing that he about the right height and when he told Dexter his father was a killer that he might have been covering for him.

Looks like someone else maybe doing that job for him though.

Book Spoiler (don't read if you're TV only!)

I wonder if Trinity's kids are there in place of Dexter teaching Cody the ways of the dark passenger, TV show producers might not want to go down that very dark route.

never watch the next week bit - tempted though....

I normally avoid the 'Next week on...' segments like the plague but thanks to the excited chatter in here went back and watched it. Oh, my. They struck just the right balance, giving you enough to get *very* excited without really spoiling anything.

That one shot of Trinity walking out of the lift into the homicide office is enough to convince me (as if I needed convincing!) that these last two episodes are going to be absolutely, completely unmissable.

Does anyone know if the finale is going to air as 2 episodes in a single night (like Lost has always done), or whether we're getting one on Monday and then a week of torture until the next? Seems strange to trail the final two episodes together if they're going to be a week apart...

Super super dark this week.

Lithgow is amaze thou. Made even worse from the fact that he's so nice in everything else. Was there rumours that Kelsey Grammer was going to be Trinity? Tat would have been interesting

Shut up, cunt.

ha, like a complete muppet I totally missed the bit where

she

gave the game away to Deb.
