PES6 on PS2 / PC

I've got the PC version, and have been playing a fair few games online, so count me in if we can get something going...

Been really enjoying it online so far. Lost my first 4 games as I'd lept straight into the online modes withough playing more than 1 or 2 single player games, and it took me a while to get the hang of shooting. I've now picked up dramatically, and my record is now W13, D2, L5 and I've beaten people with a much higher score and rank than me in the last couple of games.

I was playing the PS2 version round a friend's earlier and I have to say even after acclimatising to the ps2 version I much prefer the 360 one. I found it to feel very 'digital' in that everything felt like it was restricted to 8 directions where-as on the 360 it 's only the moving direction that seems restricted to the 8 ways and the whole thing feels like a baby step towards a fully analogue PES. The match also seemed to whiz from end to end with little regard for build up, I never felt that I could hold the ball up and let a few players get forward like I do on the 360.

Also the graphics are a world apart, I didn't really appreciate the new 360 engine until I played the ps2 version, everything looks so flat and you can see the textures wrapped around the player models, going back to the 360 version the players look very real like 3d, albeit rubbery, objects.

Had a magnificent session on this last night. Aside from the game being infinitely more enjoyable than the 360 one, the online community is also so much friendlier. Everybody is pleasant, congratulating you on games & goals etc, and I've never had anyone quit on me.

One question: how do I find the rllmuk group then? I have to confess that while the lobby system is great once you're in with a group, I genuinely have no idea how it all works. Unfortunately my promo copy didn't come with instructions, so I'm a bit confused.

I don't get that point at all.

I got winning eleven 10 Japanese league on PS2. But my PS2 can't go online as it is Messiah 2 chipped which mean it doesn't support online gaming. (I think)

I have a messiah 2 aswell. If you hold in the power button when turning it on (for a about 6 seconds) the chip is disabled. Does WE10-JL have online play?

Are you sure about that, can you provide me more evidence so I can pick up Network adapter cheap 2nd hand from Gamestation if this is the case.

Just try it. Put an original(or copy)/import game into your ps2, then turn it off (onto standby) Then turn the ps2 on (holding in the power button for about 6 seconds) If the game doesnt load/you get an error you know the chip is disabled. It works for me and i have a messiah 2 (unless the guy who installed it lied :) )
