Yes, it's out there.

Proper opinions when I've listened all the way through.

The album, which is out on November 20, will be released in a CD/DVD format and will contain 78 minutes of 'new' Beatles material.

As previously reported by NME.COM, the album was created by Sir George Martin and his son Giles Martin. The pair used master tapes of original Beatles recordings for a collaboration with Cirque Du Soleil.

In a statement, Paul McCartney said: "This album puts The Beatles back together again, because suddenly there's John and George with me and Ringo."

Ringo Starr added: "George and Giles did such a great job combining these tracks. It's really powerful for me and I even heard things I'd forgotten we'd recorded."

The tracklisting for the album is:

'Because'

'Get Back'

'Glass Onion'

'Eleanor Rigby'/'Julia' (Transistion)

'I Am The Walrus'

'I Want To Hold Your Hand'

'Drive My Car'/' The Word'/'What You're Doing'

'Gnik Nus'

'Something'/'Blue Jay Way' (Transition)

'Being For The Benefit Of Mr Kite!'/'I Want You (She's So Heavy)'/ 'Helter Skelter'

'Help!'

'Blackbird'/'Yesterday'

'Strawberry Fields Forever'

'Within You Without You'/'Tomorrow Never Knows'

'Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds'

'Octopus's Garden'

'Lady Madonna'

'Here Comes The Sun'/'The Inner Light' (Transition)

'Come Together'/'Dear Prudence'/'Cry Baby Cry' (Transition)

'Revolution'

'Back In The USSR'

'While My Guitar Gently Weeps'

'A Day In The Life'

'Hey Jude'

'Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (Reprise)'

'All You Need Is Love'

This is good no?

Over at Oinks I posted what my friend and I could pick out from the start of Get Back:

00:00 Start from A Hard Day's Night

00:01 Drumming is from Abbey Road's The End (first 35 ish seconds)

00:26 Reverbs are from The End (1:25)

00:15ish The crescendo is from A Day In The Life (4:00ish in)

00:22 Is the guitar from 1:06 in The End

Well, I'm enjoying this, but I'm not sure how much value this have compared to the original songs. It sounds like a megamix most of the time. Maybe I've been hanging around the GYBO forums too much, but I keep expecting some Prodigy or Wu Tang to kick in, maybe a sample of that fat guy saying "J-j-j-j-jive Bunny!"

If they're all like that, I expect I'll find the appeal of this album similar to that of The Rutles and that amusing mash-up of about 20 Beatles songs: recognising parts of familiar tunes in unexpected places, and trying to work out where they're from.

Some of it works, some of it doesnt.Although the Within you without you/Tomorrow never knows still puts the hair up on the back of my neck. And the seque into Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds straight after is gorgeous.

Im not too sure about the early Beatles tracks but then I have never been that much of a fan of that early beat period.

It's not so much a mash up - more like each track being remade - but they are only using prerecorded Beatles stuff as their stock - It works very well.

...how the fuck can you re-unite a 4 piece band when 2 of them are dead ¬_¬

You must have missed "Free as a Bird" and "Real Love" in the mid '90s I take it,

Anyway, looking forward to this. What I've heard so far I've really enjooyed in the aforementioned "That trumpet bit at 1:26 is killing me, where the hell is it from?" sort of way.

This really is fantastic.

Strawberry Fields sends shivers down my spine every time I hear it. This version is magical. The slow build from acoustic demo to psychedelic, trippy kaleidescope of sounds just blows me away, every time.

There are loads of real stand out tracks on here. Octopus's Garden, with the backing strings from Good Night, which is suddenly replaced by the original drumming...the way Within You Without You/Tomorrow Never Knows just beautifully glides into Lucy In The Sky...the acoustic While My Guitar Gently Weeps, with orchestral backing and extra verse...everything just works.

If you haven't bought this album yet, stop arsing about and pick up a copy.

Finally got around to listening to it and the entire thing seemed pretty pointless. Although I did like the transition from Mr Kite into I Want You. Also the Drive My Car/The Word/What You're Doing medley is pretty fucking cool.

The main thing I liked about Love was the clarity of all the songs. Getting to go back to the multitracks and remix all the songs is amazing. Fuck, all these songs actually have DRUMS! It reminds me of the first time I heard Pet Sounds remixed into stereo... I don't even bother listening to the original mono version anymore.

I wish whoever is in charge of The Beatles' catalogue would get off their arses and start the remix treatment. CD releases with remastered original recordings plus newly remixed versions would be fucking lush.

Yes, at the moment there's really only the Yellow Submarine Songtrack and Let It Be... Naked which have modern remasterings. (Although apparently a little remixing was done for the 1987 CD releases of Help! and Rubber Soul.)

That's the one bit on the album that makes me go 'fucking YES!!' I love that transition. It's a worthwhile listen as a whole even if one or two of the transitions feel a bit odd.
