Got me Gio tech triggers today from HMV.

I thought I would post a pic as it was unclear from the others how they attach (no glue, snap on and off, very nice)

I seen them the other day, are the worth it? My PS3 is being delivered tomorrow and I guess it might feel a bit weird going back to a triggerless controller after the 360. How much are they?

In terms of value for money they're the best console accessory ever made, IMO. Buy them.

I'll pass on EG though, was never a fan of that, liked Tiger Woods efforts instead.

See i have always thought the same and was on two minds about EG, but alot on this thread say its very very good!

Which is the best tennis game to get, i have really had a inpluse for buying a tennis game, i did have virtua tennis 3 and i know there is off spin3 coming out soon.

Just wanted to know is there any more coming out, plus what would be the best one to buy?

Probably best to wait and see how good TS3 is. VT3 gets very dull unless you're playing multi-player.

Realism in look or play? Seriously, EG has a better simulation of how golf actually works. I guess the cutesy presentation isn't for everyone though.

Exactly. There's nothing to the Tiger Woods games at all. Links 2004 is a much better game if you prefer the realistic look. Everybody's Golf doesn't do a bad job though, the courses give you a far better sense of relief than any of the Tiger games. It's just the characters that are cutesy in EG.

Might have to wait as i has VT3 before and just found it very easy and got bored of it very quickly!

In woods it was the realistic look of the players that i liked although Links is a great golf series that i had nearly forgot about! Do you get much of a feel for EG in the demo or would i be better renting the game?

This might not be the right place to post this question, but then again it is mainly directed at PS3 owners on the forum!

Why is there such bad online thread's in the online section compared to say a 360 and a certain "SAINTM" ?

Returning to the EG5 theme, that thread is going along very pleasantly, it's a nice bunch of people we play with twice a week or more. Shame the demo doesn't give you any online games actually, although it still shows you how the game itself plays well enough.

Apart from that, I must say I've never bothered online on PS3 - online in general has never really appealed to me much though. I'm finally picking up GTAIV (£27.99 at movietyme, folks!) so maybe I'll have a crack at that one.

And I'm sure there's an xbox live elephant in this room somewhere.

Yeah i was going to do that i just wanted to see if there was any interest among PS3 users here for a fifa euro 08 thread, as i know there was a couple who did try to start a similiar thread in the online section before and had little success:

So i was thinking if i could drum up enough interest in here, then i would start one in the online folder.

Tiger Woods was a load of tosh. You couldn't play more than 1 or 2 holes at a time online before it dropped everyone out, + aces came along as often as birdies, whereas I'm still waiting on my 1st ace in EGWT. EGWT beats even the mighty Links in my book.
