You raid cock-ups

He killed a bunch of people at Ragnaros too, by getting targetted for the knockback only he resisted it and sent a bunch of people flying instead moving back to the MT position biggrin.gif

That was just a cunning way to own the healing meters. Do the most healing and explode all the other healers in the process. It made me feel like some sort of super mage.

I'm feeling left-out here - I can't remember ANY self-inflicted wipes...

I got aggro on Vael once - MT lagged a bit and my AimedShot hit first - but tbh I could wait all day for lousy Warriors to stop missing things <_<:D

First time in the Deathknight Wing I was pulling patrols (WAY easier than we expected) and accidently shot the wrong one - and we still killed them with ease...

erm...

I've pulled adds in Strat - but who hasn't? - that I did it on a 45 min run and we still did it with mins to spare is a bonus really...

Guess my super-cockups are yet to come...

I took my hunter to UBRS the other day. I never play my hunter. It was an alt run though, so I went along for a bit of fun. Anyway, we were flying along. We were just about to start the Rend fight. I was the only enchanter, so had just DE'd a drop we'd had, and went off to give the shard to the winner. I couldn't see him, so right clicked his avatar and hit Follow. Oh. He'd already jumped down into the pit. Anyway, I traded the guy, gave him his shard, then saw my pet coming through the back gate to Rend's pit, followed by 20 raging orcs.

Everybody else jumped down to help out. We wiped. Rend bugged out. Raid reset. Huntards FTW.

I'm glad they're fixing that bug tonight.

Oh yeah, one of our Paladins DI'd the MT in the middle of a Venoxis fight a while back, too. That was fun. We probably could have recovered, but everybody was too busy laughing.

Not quite a raid cock-up but I remember back when dm west was majorly easy to farm and we'd aggroed some of the trees and decided to leg it back. The druid we were with was getting pounded and I decided to be nice and toss her a BoP.

Only problem being I missed the BoP button and pressed DI instead. Running for dear life to suddenly find yourself dead by your own hand is pretty funny.

Didn't you say you shot Vek'nilash just as he teleported once and caused a wipe as the arrow went flying back on itself to hit him on the other side of the room? Or was it someone else? In any case, bloody hunters.

I Aimed-Shotted him across the entire room yeah - he took a look at me and then returned to chewing thru ppl on that side.

We probably wiped - you wipe a LOT on the Twemps when you're learning tho so I can't actually remember.

Longest Aimedshot evar tho!

Wipe at Vael : caused by a spoon

One of the guys on Earthen Ring (Ominae (Hunter) ) had just wiped at Vael. Was eating ice-cream at the keyboard, dropped the spoon on the attack key and hit Vael. Multi-death ensued.

Yesterday a Paladin on Draenor called Bjartis was standing next to an egg on "Buru the Gorger" Boss man, and decided to catch some sleep while people were corpse running etc - He decided a nice pillow would be his keyboard - Hit the egg, and pulled the boss - much to the amusement of the raid.

We had a warlock pull Onyxia by watching TV. He'd turned to the other screen, not realising he'd shifted the weight in his hand slightly, while it was resting above the 'forward' key. Turned back when he heard Ony start talking, thinking we'd engaged, only to find she was enjoying a delightful mid-evening snack. Not a wipe though.

A wipe at Hakkar was caused by a hunter shooting while we were mostly all AFK, a wipe at Ragnaros was caused by a hunter shooting as we ressed up, a wipe at Vael was caused by a warlock accidentally death-coiling him as we engaged.

I'm sure I've contributed my share of foolishness as well, but those are the key ones.

I don't think I've done anything to wipe a raid yet, though I have see some howlers recently.

A good one was on Magmadar, a priest of ours ran almost straight at him while the rest of us were buffing, ran just to the right of Magmadar and stopped on the other side of the room. Obviously he was lagging, but it was pretty funny to see /ra, /g and /s all fill with cries to get him to stop running.

Another was on Vael, after a wipe we all ran in buffed in the Razorgore room and the Raid Leader told us all to run in. One of the new raid members for the night ran right at Vael and started the fight, before anyone else was ready.

Oh and a hunter pulling Major Domo along with most of the adds in that room lead to another wipe.
