The stupidity of the interweb never fails to amaze.

After more time with the demo excitement is now quite high (defcon 3ish). Not as high as SFIV or Resiclunk Evil 5 obviously, but enough to create a warm glow that will see me home through the cutting north wind.

Thats it, I give up on edge. Seriously I've been playing Resistance 2 that I picked up on the cheap and been having a blast with it. Its not a AAA but its a solid game and I'm enjoying it so far.

Then I wondered what it got in edge so I had a little look online.

6/10. One point higher than Haze? But thats a pile of steaming shit that deserves its bargain bin fate.

Killzone 2 would seem to have fallen into the same trap. Its a solid game from its demo but does nothing remarkable. Its not a AAA title tahts for sure Still preordering it so I will now wait and give it the benefit of the doubt

This is a parody, isn't it?

Played a couple of later missions on my friends plasma HD last night. I used to think Gears 2 was the best looking game yet, but this really shits all over it.

I also love how the sniper rifle works. Using motion control to slightly adjust your aim when zoomed in, is actually very usefull. Didn't think it would be but it is.

This game and Uncharted on a good Plasma HD TV = I'm getting my own Plasma now :wacko:

Edit: Whoops just realised that Soong has already linked to this. Don't be kidded into thinking though this is the gaf 3 gazzillion page hype thread. Its not, its new and like I said just look at the layout on page 1 - some guy must have spent absolutely ages doing that :wacko:

I think it's great to see enthusiasm for games. It's just like making fanzines in the old days, and at least with a forum post people will actually read it.

He'd only last 5 minutes on here though - rllmuk would leech his burning enthusiasm within minutes and reprogram him to save time and effort by sticking to a simple lolsony :lol:.
