Shit guys. Leave poor Okotta alone will ya. His dad works for Sony in Japan and he has been playing a special PS4 version for a month now, so who are we to tell him what the game is like.

My poor plain ol' PS3 version should tip up tomorrow, I am looking forward to playing it, more than I expected to be anyway.

I still haven't seen anything resembling an advert for this, anywhere.

Funnily enough, I just came on to post that there was a very high-profile ad just now: during the half time of Man U vs. Inter Milan, Champions League.

Pretty big spend for Sony, there.

Everything i've seen of KZ2 so far, seems to me humourless in comparison with GOW.

Look, i'm quite clear that a lot of people don't like GOW's style or its mix of brash OTT stuff and tounge-in-cheek humour, but.....well, I do.

I like GoW 1 + 2 a lot for the gameplay.

But those games' attempts at story and such are just LOL. When they go OTT with stuff it's still all a bit safe and harmless. It's too cartoony to really be considered OTT. Which is what I meant with my movie comparisons.

I see GoW a bit like the tv series or PG-13 version and Killzone 2 like the R rated version.

Not that there's anything wrong with that; Killzone 2 just has more edge than GoW.

Bitch, I told you not to leak this sort of stuff this early.

Do you know how fucking hard those PS4's are to get hold of? DO YOU?? No? Well, shut up then!

Sure!

"By the time the game limply draws to a pathetic close a mere six hours later, you realise two things. Firstly, that the opening cinematic was designed by some awesome effects house, and secondly, that the rest of the game was designed by bum-handed bore-bots with a humour bypass. We're not saying there should be banana skins and Benny Hill music or anything, but dear higher entity, this is po-faced stuff."

"Looking for a new gameplay experience? Look elsewhere, Killzone 2 couldn't be more meat and potatoes if it was a cottage pie. It goes something like this: you enter a room. Run about until you stand on the exact point that will trigger the wave of enemies. Hide behind some cover. Wrestle with the fiddly controls to pop out and shoot. Maybe blow up a big red barrel."

"We did like the Helghast's faux cock-er-ney British accents though, you can close your eyes and pretend you're going postal at a Dick Van Dyke convention. This is what happens when you put your money where your mouth is - only to find you've got nothing to say."

I found it pretty damned funny, but seeing as I'm buying the game anyway I can lollololololol.

Anyway I forgot to add this:

Fancy that!

I pray the release comes fast so that people talk about just the game.

Like I said, I played it some more today. Let me just say this, when you play the game what with all the shooting and shouting and noise, its easy to forget how good it looks. I have to remind myself to stop in some parts of levels and look. Go "wowwww" and then move on. It's sort of like a racing game which has the most beautifully rendered scenery in the world or something like that but you keep driving too fast past it to notice.

Are you? There is a 30 second advert to go with the teaser, you know. BUT LOL!!!

Er, yes I am. Dude Ranch mentioned that he hadn't seen any advertising for this, and I pointed out the one ad I have seen for it (multiple times now) - a measley 10 second ad.

If there's a new extended version I haven't seen it yet. Unsuprisingly I'm not likely to comment on stuff I don't know exists and/or haven't seen.

.::: The thread seems to suggest you are likely to comment on stuff you haven't played properly, though. ;)

Can you answer the question I asked you, please?

As for this post, fuck me, are you kidding? What the fuck are you dribbling on about?

Bugger off.
