Look, Judgement Boy, i'm not quite sure how you've convinced yourself of what you evidently have, but i've just been giving my opinions on what i've seen and heard, just like everyone else here. How this makes me a troll, a fanboy, or somebody with an agenda I don't know.

I am not entirely surprised by yet another baseless attack, i've already had several equally clueless people say equally stupid things about me and my supposed opinions and the motivations behind them already in this thread. You're just as wrong as they are, but no matter.

I also realise it would be foolish of me to expect you to actually explain what you mean when you call what I say trolling, and draw attention to some specific examples to back up this claim. But I do realise it's far easier to just rubbish somebody by referring to everything they've ever said, although it does rather leave you open to the danger of looking like a moron with the attention span of hyperactive toddler and the memory of a goldfish when it's revealed how staggeringly wrong you are.

I'm guessing it would be this, although I don't really watch TV. It's technically impressive, but I'm sure offering a continuous 30 seconds of first-person gameplay footage would have been more persuasive.

It's a game, play it, if you don't enjoy it then rip it to shreds but you are pre-judging it and pre judging isn't something you seem to like much yourself if it happens in other threads, discussion or any other folder here.

My opinion on this? I've only played the demo, it's technically very impressive. Due to my taste in games it does fall under "just another shooter" for me but no need to fill the thread up with insults to others who may be looking forward to it.

Er, yes I am. Dude Ranch mentioned that he hadn't seen any advertising for this, and I pointed out the one ad I have seen for it (multiple times now) - a measley 10 second ad.

If there's a new extended version I haven't seen it yet. Unsuprisingly I'm not likely to comment on stuff I don't know exists and/or haven't seen.

Er, sorry, you're saying that it wouldn't be acceptable to hold a negative impressions (i hear some people call them ''opinions'') on RE5, on the basis of reviews, previews, media and so on that you had seen?

Dude, there are plenty of people who are sceptical about KZ2, and some of that stuff is informed by the comments of our very own forumites (bigline for instance).

I'll go through your post point by point though.

I found that the dev took time to explain that complete non-features as if it was something remarkable really quite funny, really. Especially considering it's called a secret feature, and he refers to it as ''one of the mechanics we've developed''. Whatever, I found it funny, especially considering the mad hype surrounding this game. Getting upset about sarcasm, Soong, at your age? Good Lord.

As for ''10 seconds'', again, so what? I'm just expressing my frustration at such a short ad. What exactly is your problem there? Do I need to pass my thoughts and opinions past a team of Sony fanboys to check they don't upset them before posting or something? Only in a thread like this, over a game like this, would a tiny throw-away comment mocking the length of a tv spot become a point of contention. This place is unbeliveable sometimes.
