I've also been playing this over the last couple of days. The Jungle World was brilliant, but now I'm stuck on one of the Ice World stages. It's got a massive icicle in the center and a goon to the left of the stage that runs up and down a set of ladders whenever you near him. :o

waggle the big bast that's running round the thing in the middle - that'll give you a clue

I so wanted to love this game. I played a good chunk of it too, right up until a level with a dragon sat in the middle of a chasm. Frustration overload ensued and I took it into trade the following day. I've still got fond memories of most of the game before that, but the whole cheap death thing ground me down at that point.

The level with baby dragon and its mom wasn't very good. That's the worst level in the game, right? RIGHT?!

Just finishing off the game at the moment, I'd left it halfway through a few months back. The airship level straight after the dragon is a real stinker, instant deaths all the way. After that though, the next set of levels are some of the best in the whole game. Definately worth persevering with.

I'm on the second last level now, it's HUGE and I'm completely at a loss what to do.

I gave up at the airship level (if it's the one with the frog etc.) and now you tell me it gets better after!

Can't be arsed to play this solo, but when Napole0n drops by for a gaming session, we always end up playing this little gem for hours and hours.

I'm at the final level now, but it's insanely complicated and illogical. Still determined to finish it though.

I used a FAQ for some parts of this game (Dragons Scales, some parts on the Airship and the odd puzzle throughout) as I would never have finished it otherwise - much like the Monkey Island games. Never completed any of those on my own either. The last level has a proper 'rubberducker' moment - NO WAY i could have figured out

how to apply the bell to trap Barbaros at the very end

. I had the rest figured out but that was way beyond my reach..

Lovely lovely game, a spiritual successor to Dragon's Lair and had me wishing for a Zelda game done in the same fashion.

More please :)

I wish there was a patch for this, to remove all the shitness.

Because I love the idea of a point 'n clicker on the Wii, this had greatness written all over it. Somewhere beneath all the illogical puzzles, instant deaths, horrible wiimote gestures there is a good game screaming to get out.

Good grief, the level where you free Barbaros is absolutely terrible. I've had to redo it 6 times now, only because I'm apparently too shit at spotting the difference between 3 statues. I really don't see why an adventure point and clicker like this needs to resort to insta-deaths. It's a pity, as all the levels post-airship were really good and didn't punish you with instant failure.

Discovered this one unplayed somewhere in my huge pile of shame.

Great game so far. But Bonelich can take a long walk off a short pier.

EDIT: Apparently the trick is to stand up so the sensor bar gets a better reading of your movement. Nailed the Ghouls 'N Ghosts song that way.

You sound like my Aunt complaining that Just Dance couldn't see her legs because the coffee table was in the way. In 2008.  :P

FUCKSAKE - don't do that to me.  I thought it was being remade for the switch there.
