The old Man Utd Thread

Sounds about right. Hateful team.

Something about people fucking off to their own football threads. Eh Blinky?

edit:

Exactly. Wanna talk about those mercenary cunts at Manchester City? Do it in your own back yard. Wanna talk positions and other players? Fuck off back to the football thread. This is The Arsenal thread. Gooner talk.

:hat:

There was about as much contact on Berbatov as there was on Walcott yesterday. Both went down easy, both pens.

And will Berbatov come out after the game and admit he dived?

And you're utterly deluded if you think that 'challenge' on Berbatov is a penalty.

Just to clear up my commect, would you be complaining if you'd got that aginst Spurs?

It shouldn't be a penalty but until FIFA clamp down on diving, players will continue to do it.

So am I to give you the benefit of doubt and assume that you were 'laughing' atvthe award of the penalty, rather than supporting the decision?

Strange half really. We've been poor but Liverpool's defense keep giving the ball away and Torres looks shot. I've generally agreed with the comments that it's a tactical issue but that simply can't explain why every touch he has is on an Ameobi like level. They really should give Kelly the RB spot, he's coped better against Giggs than the majority of RB's.

I thought Gerrard's red was harsh form the first view as it didn't look two footed but when you see it from the opposite angle it's pretty much the definition of a two footed off the ground red card.

Well, i was lauging at the whole 'new dawn' for Liverpool being shot down in 30 seconds by a dodgy decision and scored penalty. I've given up caring about diving anymore, all the teams are at it and not one of them will do anything about it. It's pretty depressing when Walcot admitting he dived, after actually diving, is seen as some kind of positive moment.

Players from all teams go down too easily at the merest hint of contact in the penalty area, it's not just United players you know?

I'm not saying it's right, but it's just the way it is these days.

We aren't playing particularly well though and I reckon Liverpool have a good shout of getting an equalizer if we don't shut the game out pretty soon.

Good result without playing well at all(shows how poor Liverpool are at the moment), dubious pen granted but Berba as made the most of the situation. Fuck knows what the defender did sticking is leg out.

Gerrard is always had that dirty side so it's good to see him been punished ever once in a while the dirty bastard.

Over all, the win is the most important thing so job well done!
