You're not happy we beat chelsea 2-0?

We completely dominated the game, yea the ref was crap but you just have to deal with it. We defended really well keeping them to only one shot on target. Granted we didn't create that much second half, but we didn't need to.

3 points and yet another clean sheet. That'll do nicely.

Yes the ref ruined the match, but at the end of the day the result counts. 3 points are now all ours, and we're second in the league.

I just don't like the way we are playing these days its really boring me.

I should be happy but im not for whatever reason.

Maybe i need some prozac.

Thought United were no better than they have been all seaon, which is poor in my opinion. The ref was foolish sending off Mikel, but it didn't detract from the fact that Chelsea were awful, truly awful.

Saha definitely made a meal of it but it was a penalty and I am pleased for Tevez, beyond that there were not many positives. Maybe we were just shellshocked that Chelsea were so poor because we seemd lost at times, and content with keeping possesion.

Don't forget dude chelsea looked good before the sending off. Most teams would look shit against Utd with 10 men at old trafford.

were we watching the same game?

Chelsea were a shadow of their former selves. Either you're doing them an injustice or I am overplaying their previous form, but apart from minimal spells, United controlled the game from start to finish. Previously Chelsea have come to Old Trafford confident and demanding at least a 50% share of the action, that wasn't the same team today.

Chelsea were outclassed by a blunt United team, no more need be said.

It was a "low" win, in that it relied on two very lucky breaks for Utd, and really they've been so lucky since the opening losing streak it really is bizzare.

BUT the idea that Utd played badly is ridiculous. They are playing a fantastic side, played some very nice football, dominated mid-field, never looked threatened, and Chelsea were playing well. Carrick was back, Brown was soleed, Scholes was excellent as usual, Giggs came milimeters from the goal of the season - that first half was the best all round play this season.

All that's missing is both Tevez and Rooney are capable of everything except shooting. Shooting is completely beyond Utd this season. Only Vidic's head is capable of goal.

What so you can't remember chelsea playing well before the sending off? - maybe you were sitting on the toilet having a crap.

And the reason UTD controlled for most of the match is because they had an extra man for most of it , plus chelsea were playing away from home to add.

I am not suggesting we played badly per se, but we played as well as we have done all season, which means we're still not performing to our potential.

We're missing that cutting edge, I am wondering when its going to appear.

Right. Four shots, none on target, one corner all game. They were really bossing the first 30 minutes.

If we don't have it in a month, once rooney's back on his game, Ronaldo's had a chance to gel with the new guys and tevez is up to speed, I'll be worried. Until then I'm happy to win.

Chelsea lost their manager :P

Pld with 10 men :)

we were at home. :)

Think of all the boring games that top teams play with boring draws etc.

Think of all the dreams you have of Utd beating chelsea 4-0 or whatever.

This was are chance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! to thrash them like you do in your dreams with beutiful goals and play, but only in reality. :(

This is why i am not happy with our scrappy win today.

Chelsea didn't manage a shot on target in 30 minutes of 11 on 11. you're talking bollocks.

Its not unusual for an away team to have no shots on target in the first 30 mins at old trafford.

What so if we had lost fergie and went to stamford bridge we would be all over them in the first 30 mins and even win with 10 men in the end?

so, on what evidence do you believe that Chelsea were doing well until the sending off?

Well i can remember Utd losing the ball on occasions and chelsea trying to hit them on the counter.

Ok they fizzed out on their counter attacks and utd had more shots on goal but they were not doing to bad before the sending off.

I guess it's hard to bang seven past a team who only venture one player as far as the half way line which is exactly what Chelsea did for the majority of the second half.

Yes it was a boring match indeed.

The only thing that came good from it was getting Tevez of the mark.

Thats what i think anyway.

Oh yeah! lets not forget the 3 points eh.
