The old Man Utd Thread

I quite liked Flamini's tackle on Nani, oh and Keown....................Legend!

Nah seriously, well done to Utd, you totally deserved it. The only things I enjoyed about the game the other day were that tackle by Flamini, Gallas made me laugh with his little kick on Nani, and Nani's one footed somersault celebration. Now that was class.

I dare you to do that again.

That Kerlon's an idiot.

made me laugh too.

The South American football reporter on the BBC reported he ruptured his knee ligaments again recently, putting him out for the rest of the season. Doesn't look like he has much chance of getting picked up by a European club with his injury record.

Dare I say Giggs and Scholes are looking a bit past it now? I'll always love them and everything they've done for the club but it's starting to remind me of the Keane end-days where they seem to get played more out of loyalty than merit. They just seem a bit slow and ponderous nowadays and not as suited to the type of attacking game we want to play.

Anyway good result in the end. I'm sure we won't be so cautious as to only play one up front at OT.

Watch more football. We look half a team without Giggs (except for last Saturday).

Hey, I'm as a big a fan of Giggs as anyone, but he hasn't done that much to impress me this season. Sorry. He had quite a renaissance for the past couple of seasons, but this year not so much....I just feel we should be looking towards the future more. He's still the best crosser of the ball we have and definetely the best corner taker (Nani's corners are normally quite shit) but you can see how much him and Scholes have to conserve their energy nowadays. Players like Nani and Anderson still have a long way to go but they're full of pace and energy.

Yeah I see what you mean. To be honest I've been disappointed with his corner taking this season. Considering we have Vidic, Ferdinand and Ronaldo in the box who are all great headers of the ball we score very few goals directly from corners.
