How come Pennant gets booked for protesting but Cole doesnt for exactly the same thing :)

Apart from the yellow cards all over the place it has been a good half for Liverpool although Chelsea were getting into it more and more as the half went on.

Oh and great goal by Torres ;)

Are the Torres doubters convinced yet? I told you he'd do the business. :)

Rob 'The Knob' Styles is living up to his name with his inconsistent decision making. How we had four players booked in that half is anyone's guess. He's left me praying none of our lot get sent off now.

I'm pretty pleased so far. We deserve to be leading but I hope we improve in the second half because I'm sure Chelsea will.

Playing well so far, could have been two up if Pennant had managed to get the ball to Torres in the box near the end. Torres put in a great run to get into the space and if it had been anyone other than Pennant playing the pass we'd have had another great chance. I said before that I wanted us to sign Torres and although he's been fairly quiet, he's already showing how capable he is adapting to the league, seems like he's intimidating Terry a bit too.

Chelsea are playing with a bit of Wimbledon's John Fashanu tactics, punt it to the big fella up front and just hope... Let's hope they keep playing that way

If we weren't 1-0 up I think we'd see Babel go up against Essien. As it is, its unlikely to happen until much later in the game. Can't believe Voronin didn't even get on the bench though. So many goods players and so little space to put them in! :);)

Totally agree. Chelsea look troubled when faced by pace and Crouch is hardly likely to sprint past them.
