The Liverpool players shouldn't be shaking the refs hand, they should be throttling his throat. I expect a public apology from Styles and my £10 betting loss to be refunded by Styles, in person, when I will also hoof him in the 'nads once the cash has been handed over.

That was fucking terrible. I cannot stand Rob Styles, by far my most hated referee and today has firmly cemented that. FUCKING IDIOT CUNT. The game was really enjoyable until that decision and then he just crumbled giving stupid decision after stupid decision making both teams lose their temper leading to several unneccessary cards. AND THE WAY HE ALWAYS FUCKING SMILES WHEN HE'S BOOKING SOMEONE. He's a greasy disgrace.

I guarantee all the Chelsea fans'll be saying "Oh but what about that Garcia goal in the champions league," but no one in that stadium other that Styles can seriously say they thought that was a penalty.

If Chelsea had earned the draw then fine, it was an enjoyable game to watch, but the last 30 mins or so was just so bitty it wasn't worth watching.

I can't see how there can be any legitimacy in the league any more. Each season, worse and worse decisions are made. Goals that aren't given, goals that are - offsides, fouls, everything. This is worse than that fucking free kick at the Reebok.

EDIT: And the BBC have also chickened out in actually publicising the issue. It gets a couple of brief mentions in the post match report and that's it.

This "he only booked Terry" stuff is nonsense as well. He had already booked Terry, sent him away and was talking to Essien before brandishing the card again. Whoever he was booking there, whether it be Terry, Essien or Benhaim, had already been booked. I had a horrible feeling something like this would happen after the first half.

Why is it always us, though? We are one of the fairest, most sporting teams in the league. Chelsea are one of the most cynical, snide and theatrical set of cunts going yet we're the ones that get shafted again.

As much as I hate to see it, we need to be more snide. I can see Arbeloa and Aurelio do things like that. We will forever be taken advantage of unfortunately, unless we can change.

Oh well. We can take so many positives from this. The only way Chelsea got a draw from us was by sheer luck and it was us chasing the win all the way after that, not Chelsea. And a draw against Chelsea is fine, especially as Man Utd lost. If we play like we did today against lesser teams (i.e. almost all other teams in the league) we should do really well.

No surprise Carragher got booked. You can see him on the replay pointing straight at Styles and calling him a cheat. But you can't blame him. "Well I never! That was the most unbelievably incompetent refereeing decision I've seen in all my born days. I urge you to reconsider!" doesn't trip off the tongue quite so easily. You should be able to get cards rescinded for being provoked in such a horrendous fashion. I hope Styles apologises. And then I hope he never referees another Liverpool match again.

I liked the time that the Chelsea wall came steaming out to block a free kick and he wasn't watching! Oh that Japester Styles, he's a one isn't he?

As long as you don't get relegated, you should be ok.

To be honest I wouldn't let him take charge of a championship game. I would have understood it a bit if he was far from the incident and gave it, but he was right in front of it thats what makes it difficult to understand why he gave it.
